Giraffe Love!

Happy Saturday!

I don't know how you feel about giraffes, but I have always loved them! They are so incredibly beautiful and their eyes are spectacular! The zoo here in Lincoln is adding a new addition and in the next year or so you will be able to actually feed them from balconies!  I can't wait!! I plan to be there that first week to see them up close & personal!  These 2 beauties are from A Day For Daisies.

I grabbed an Ellentina Cutting Die (4 petal flower) and a Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaves for the flowers. 

I'm not sure what they eat in real life....maybe we will be feeding them flowers!  ha ha

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes!

Hello, again

It's that time of the week once more!  Time for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge and the theme again is "Anything Goes" so grab your supplies & join the fun!

I went with one of my favorite digi stamps of all time.  "Old Buzzard" digi # 8203.  He makes a perfect stamp for those cards where you can bring a smile to someone's face while you kid them about their age!

I love this guy!  He makes me laugh whenever I see him!

Let's paint the eggs!

Hello, friends!

Do you still remember the days of dying and coloring Easter eggs?  Are you lucky enough to still have little ones around to do it with?  My grandson is long past the age of decorating eggs, but I remember the days when he was young. 

I grabbed a Poppy Stamps Easter Eggstravaganza Frame for this cute digi.  They look like they are having so much fun don't they?

Easter Chicks!

Happy Hump Day!

Have you finished all your Easter cards or are you still working on them?  I've been making them steadily for days as I have a spring craft show in March and hope to sell a lot of them.

These two cuties were made with one of my new Stamping Bella Easter stamps.

I liked this image so much I did two of them in different colors.  I framed them with a Marianne Designs Anja's Oval Die.

Cake makes everything better!!

Well, doesn't that sound like good advice! What wouldn't be MUCH better if there was cake involved! Especially if the cake & frosting were both chocolate! This is another Sassy Cheryl image & perfect for a birthday card.

You are braver than you think!

Hello!

Is your week off to a terrific start?  I sure hope so!

Today's card is from Sassy Cheryl and perfect to give someone a boost of encouragement! I haven't decided if these 3 little guys are trying to get up nerve to jump in to save their little buddy or are hoping HE will get up enough courage to save himself.  All you can see of him is his tail!

A Marianne Design Anja's Frilly Square die was used to cut them out.  I think we all know someone who may be going through tough times and this sentiment is the perfect note of encouragement.

"Whisking" you a Happy Birthday!

Hi there!

Enjoying your Sunday?  I love Sundays.  I pick my daughter up for church and then head home to my craft room to play. 

I loved this cute image and I'm sure she is making something wonderful with those strawberries! Hopefully, it also includes chocolate of some kind! 

A Joy Crafts Bakery Mixer die seemed to be the perfect touch.

For an Egg-stra Special Friend!

Hope you are enjoying your Saturday & getting a lot done!  Even retired, I still enjoy Satturdays!

She seems to have everything you could ask for on Easter morning! A basket full of eggs and a really large chocolate bunny!  I can taste those ears now!  ha ha  Am I the only one who always started with the ears?

QKR Stampede Challenge- Anything Goes!

Happy Friday!

Ready for another QKR Stampede challenge?   The theme this year is always "Anything Goes" which leaves you wide open to chose whatever you want!

I decided to go with a cute carpenter, digi # 13905.

Since I live in Lincoln now, and everyone here is obsessed with the Huskers, I knew his jersey had to be red!  What else!!  On game day you see nothing but red on anyone!!!  Football is like a religion here and on game day you can literally go to the mall shopping and see nobody there.  They are all at the game or home glued to their television sets!
