Silent Night, Holy Night!
Hello again, friends!
Another Wednesday has rolled around and since October is nearly over and November is only days away, I thought I would share a Christmas card today. If you are buying your cards already made, you can wait until the week before Christmas & still get them there on time. If you are making them by hand, you all know that is quite another story! I'm already working on mine, & I know a lot of you are doing the same thing! I'm really curious.....do you choose one card you have made and make all of them like that one or do you make every card different? I have to do each one differently!
Today's card was an easy one to put together & reminded me of a quiet little house in the woods being visited by carolers sharing the joy of the season with their voices raised in song. These are the dies I used:

Memory Box Dancing Snowflake Frame
Although the Snowflake Frame is currently out of stock, you will want to put it on your must have list! It is really a versatile die and can be used several ways. I was originally going to use it as it was, but when I realized it was 5 1/2 inches tall, I decided to cut it in half & use it as a top & bottom frame for my square card.
I also included a closeup of this beautiful brick house so you could see the embossed detail on the bricks! There are 7 dies in this set, including 2 versions of the cute "gingerbread" trim. This is one of the cutest houses out there!
Don't forget to check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for a chance to win a gift voucher to the amazing store! A new challenge begins on November 1st!
And when you are thinking about Christmas, remember to think about gift cards to the store for your crafting friends! Believe me, there is nothing that will bring a bigger smile to their faces! Especially when they see the selection available! And be sure to tell Santa that YOU would like one too!
Until next week, have a wonderful week!

QKR Stampede # 162 - Halloween
Happy Friday, dear friends!
Ready for another great weekend? We need to enjoy the weather while we can. Winter always seems to sneak up on us when we least expect it! Today's theme for the QKR Stampede weekly challenge is Halloween! Which happens to be one of my favorite holidays....it involves CANDY!! I have learned (the hard way) not to buy my Halloween candy until the day before. For those of you who don't have my sugar/chocolate addiction and are wondering why, it's because I will eat it all before Halloween and have to replace it! Not something I like to admit, but if you know me you aren't surprised! ha ha
I chose digi # 14314 Riding for my card today. Who knew witches could be so cute!
See what you can come up with and you could be the winner of some awesome QKR stamps!
Hop on over to the store & pick your favorite little witch to win even more stamps!
Enjoy the weekend!

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!
Can you believe Halloween is next Saturday? Where did the summer go! If you are still looking for a great idea for your Halloween cards, I have the perfect dies for you today! I used Impression Obsession Halloween Landscape Layers, Impression Obsession Happy Halloween & Memory Box Stitched Pumpkins for this card.
When you order the Halloween Landscape Layers die, you actually receive 2 fabulous dies! I've used both of them on this card. By sponging a little white ink along the edges of the tombstone die, it was easy to create a spooky graveyard scene perfect enough to scare anyone! You could also use just one of these awesome dies for your card too for a completely different look. Although the Happy Halloween die is currently out of stock, don't stress! Just type in "Happy Halloween" in your search & you will find other dies you could substitute until this one comes back in stock.
I hope this has encouraged you to begin (or finish) your Halloween cards! Be sure to check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog as there is still time to enter the current challenge & win a gift voucher to the amazing store!
Until next week, have a wonderful week!

QKR Stampede Challenge # 161 - Make Your Background
Hello, friends!
Ready for another fun weekend? I sure am! It's hard to believe that Halloween is only a couple of weeks away. It seems like it was the 4th of July just last week!
The theme for QKR Stampede's weekly challenge this week is to make your own background. You can use anything you like. I decided to try out a neat digi (#24235 Haunted House) and make THAT as my background!

Dies R Us Challenge - Ghoul Friends
Hello again, friends!
Can you believe it is the 15th of the month already and time for the next Dies R Us Challenge? I have to confess, this one kind of sneaked up on me! Which is what Halloween is doing to all of us, I'm sure! Time to start thinking about what cards you are sending out to all your favorite "ghoul friends" (which also happens to be the theme this time! I decided that one of my favorite Sassy Cheryl digi images would be the perfect choice. To that, I added Impression Obsession Trick or Treat, Impression Obsession Cat Die Set, Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers and Memory Box Corner Cobwebs. The Corner Cobwebs die is the only one currently in stock right now, but if you just type in Trick or Treat, Cats, or Stitched, you will get a multitude of choices to choose from in other companies! That is one of the joys of shopping at Dies R Us. They carry so many companies that whatever you are searching for you will be able to find with one or more of them. I've actually typed in a word when looking for a die & ended up finding one I liked better than the original one I went searching for!
There are always some dies that you take one look at & just automatically hit "add to cart" immediately! This cobweb corner was one of those! The possibilities are endless with this gorgeous die. On this card, for instance, I also put it on the inside as I like to decorate that too.
Head on over to the Dies R Us Challenge Blog and add your Halloween card! You could be the lucky winner of a $10 gift voucher to the amazing store! And don't forget to check out the Monday thru Friday Dies R Us Inspiration Blog where you will get amazing ideas from some really crafty ladies!
Happy Creating!!!

A Beautiful Way to Say Thank You!
Hello, dear friends!
Since I wanted the beauty of this die to really show off, I backed the front of my card with some soft pink cardstock & used the same paper for my sentiment. How beautiful is this!
It's Wednesday again & time for my turn to share a bit of inspiration for you. For that, I am turning to one of my newest dies, Poppy Stamps Cottage Corner. The minute I saw it, I was reminded of a beautiful vintage handkerchief or cut work pillowcase. My grandmother used to have a lot of this kind of thing & I always loved it. Since I needed a special thank you card for someone, I knew immediately that I would begin with this die. I also grabbed Memory Box Thank You Garland for my sentiment.

I know my photography skills leave a lot to be desired at times, but I tried to show you the embossed detail this beautiful cottage corner die gives you. In person, it is just beautiful!
If you have never entered our Dies R Us Challenges, be sure to head over there to join in on the fun. If you are the lucky winner, you could win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us store! Life doesn't get any better than that!
Have a fantastic week! I'll see you back here next Wednesday!

Pawsitively Perrrrfect!
Good morning, everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful week! I'm also hoping I can add to it by sharing a new die I just got that I am "pawsitively" in love with! (I know, I say that a lot!) If you are like me and love anything connected to our four legged fur-people ( cats AND dogs) then you will LOVE the Frantic Stamper Reverse Paw Print Border die! The minute I saw it, I decided it should come home with me and from the minute I opened the package, I have been having the most fun creating all kinds of cards. I pulled out my Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers die (an absolute MUST have!) and created my first birthday card with it. The cat is a Penny Black stamp and the sentiment is from Great Impressions.
Next, I decided to make a couple of get well cards with a favorite Judith stamp. I think either of these would bring a smile to anyone under the weather!
And finally, I pulled out another Great Impressions stamp for some additional birthday greetings.
Anyone who loves cats would be thrilled to get these cards. If you are more in to dogs than cats, you can add your favorite doggie stamps for the same awesome results!

QKR Stampede Challenge # 159 - Anything Goes
Happy Friday!
Can you believe October is here already? Where did the summer go? All this means it's time to get ready for all your fall themed cards. And for today's challenge at QKR, I decided to do something a bit different. Normally, when the challenge is "anything goes" I browse thru all the amazing digi stamps & choose something fun & cute to color up. This time I decided to try using one of the many background type digi stamps they carry instead. I chose digi # 22101 and #22103 (both titled "Trees") and used those for my background. A couple of deer from one of my favorite dies and presto, a great guy card! What could be faster or easier?
Head on over to QKR Stampede to join the fun! You could be the winner of some great digi stamps!
Enjoy your weekend!
