Hello, gals!
Can you believe it is not only the end of the week, but the last day of September? Where did the summer go! Guess we have to enjoy the next month before the weather starts to cool & winter comes sliding in again. I guess it was a good choice on my part to do a Christmas card for this weeks challenge! ha ha Once I saw this digi, I just HAD to have it! This little charmer is digi # 35403 Holly Moose! Have you ever seen a moose this much into the holiday spirit before?
Since the challenge was to also use either punches or dies, I grabbed for my favorite dies, Frantic Stamper Holly Card Band & Cherry Lynn Holly Corner. They just seemed the perfect compliment to this little guy and the holly paper.
I also made this card with the same stamp & paper. Love, love, love this image!
Grab your favorite stamps, dies or punches & see what you can come up with for your entry!
Enjoy your weekend!

You survived another week & have a weekend ahead to unwind! Yea!! Hopefully, you will have some time during the weekend to work on a card for this weeks challenge! The challenge this time is "Embossing of Any Kind!" You can dry emboss or grab your powders and heat emboss. The choice is yours! I went with dry embossing for this digi # 16403 Caroling Bunnies.
Aren't they a cute couple? Looks like they are singing their little hearts out!
Ok, grab your supplies & see what you can come up with. The winner will get your choice of some fabulous digi stamps! And you can NEVER have too many digi stamps! Especially those as cute as this!

QKR Stampede Challenge # 209 - Anything Goes
Hello, friends!
Happy Weekend! I'm ready to kick back & get with friends....how about you? Of course, that always involves lunch and stamping! It's wonderful to have crazy friends who share all your addictions, isn't it? ha ha
Since the theme this week is "Anything Goes", I decided that it was a good time to work on my Christmas cards . Especially once I found this darling Christmas image of cats! This is digi # 34801 - Xmas Kitties from Eureka Stamps. I added a Poppy Stamps Stitched Holly Border to the bottom.
This many cats would be my idea of the PURR-FECT Christmas present! If I had more money & a bigger house, I would be the neighborhood "crazy cat lady" for sure!
Can't wait to see what you come up with! Remember ANYTHING goes! Pick your favorite subject or make that card you have to get ready for the next birthday.
Have a fantastic weekend!

Dies R Us Challenge - County Fair
Hello, gals!
Are you ready to join in the latest Dies R Us Challenge? The theme this time is "County Fair" and I can't wait to see all the fabulous cards that everyone will come up with! Add your card & show us what your favorite part of the fair is and you could be the lucky winner of a gift voucher to our incredible store! We have grown so much we even had to move to a larger building! If you haven't checked out all the goodies there lately, you will be amazed at all the different companies you can find there now!
Here is my card for this fun challenge! I used the following dies to make it: La-La Land random Flags W/Hearts Banner, Impression Obsession Country Fences, Amy Design Cows. The image is from Sassy Cheryl.
I have to say my favorite part of any county fair was always the animals and the food! ha ha Not a surprise to anyone who knows me at all! I used to love the rabbits most of all....the huge ones with the long, long ears were just so gorgeous! And some of the chickens were incredible as well. I'm a sucker for about any critter. Throw in a day of eating all things "fried" and on a stick & I'm in!
Catch you later!

Not Feeling Beary Good?
Hi, friends!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend! It has really cooled down here in Iowa! A sure sign that fall is on the way!
As promised yesterday, I have a get well card to share today. The stamp is from an Inky Antics Get Well set that I love! Does anyone still use hot water bottles anymore? I remember Mom had one & once in awhile when we were little she would fill it with warm water & put it in bed with us when we were sick.
The die behind my oval is Sue Wilson's Eternal Rings. My friend Karal had given me a handful of these and I loved it so much I just ordered my own this morning! What would we do without friends!
I'll be back again soon with some more catch up cards!

Catch Up Time!
Hello, everyone!
I hope you are having a great week! I've been missing in action for several days, but only because I took a trip to see my daughter & her family. I had a great time & it's always hard to say goodbye and hit the road to come home. I've also been working on finishing up cards for an upcoming craft show. I just finished my 400th card! It's a small show, though, so I know there is a good chance I will be bringing most of them home. After taking counts yesterday, I decided to work on the categories I had the fewest cards done. Hence, the anniversary cards to follow!
Tattered Lace Lacy Layers Squares for this lavender card.
Tutti Butterfly Oval for this pink card.
Again using the Butterfly oval combined with an embossing folder.
A Poppy Stamps Daphne Bloom for the red card. It's hard to see the stitching on the flower against the red.
I'll be back tomorrow with a get well card! Until then, enjoy your weekend!

QKR Stampede Challenge #208 - Fall Colors
Hello, again!
Ready to celebrate the long week being over ? Me too! It's starting to feel more & more like fall isn't it? So today's theme of "Fall Colors" is perfect! I grabbed a cute digi # 21901 "Boy & Cat In Pumpkins" from Eureka Stamps for this one. I added a Simon Says Stamp Maple Leaf Corner & some Wink of Stella for accent.
We can all use Thanksgiving or Halloween cards that would fulfill the "fall colors" for this week's challenge, so grab your supplies & see what you can come up with!
Enjoy your weekend!

A new favorite!
Hello, friends!
Are you enjoying your long weekend? I certainly am! It's always nice to have some time to play with new toys and besides the ones I shared yesterday, I also got a gorgeous Tutti Butterfly Oval die, which is now my new "favorite" (at least for the moment!). I can see this as a birthday card, get well card, thinking of you card, sympathy card....the list is endless! I decided to combine it with a Sue Wilson noble Collection - Ornate Pierced Design die and create a shaped card for a change.
I did it in soft aqua first & loved it so much I grabbed some pale pink and made another!
I'm on a roll now! Lol! I can see this in every color of the rainbow, can't you?
I hope wherever you are the weather is great, especially if you are doing any camping or outdoor activities! Our rain is supposed to be "spotty" here today, but gone by tomorrow. Hopefully, there won't be any more earthquakes anywhere! According to the news, Oklahoma had one yesterday that was felt in Omaha, Nebraska! That's getting a little close for comfort as they are just 90 miles away!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend whatever you are doing! We won't have much of this gorgeous weather left!

More Christmas!
Happy Saturday!
Are you ready to enjoy the long weekend? Me too! It's hard to believe that this weekend signifies the last long weekend of summer. Where did it go? And if the Farmer's Almanac can be believed, we are in for an early winter & an unusually cold & snowy one. YUK!
I guess making Christmas cards will just get me in the mood for the season's change. I got a couple of new Tutti dies the other day & am madly in love with both! I particularly love the Snowflake Corner die! When I ordered them, I thought it would be the Snowflake Circle die that would be my favorite. Here are the cards I have come up with so far & I have tons of ideas running round my head yet!
Enjoy your weekend! If it includes some "me" time to work on some cards or crafts, all the better!

QKR Stampede Challenge # 207
Happy Friday!
Are you ready for a really fun challenge today? The theme for today gives you LOTS of opportunity to really get creative! Today's theme is a "Recipe- 1 Digi Image, 2 Design Papers, & 3 Embellishments!" Just let your creative juices go wild on this one! I certainly did! I started with one of the cutest images I've seen in ages, Digi # 30101 Bundled Up Moose. This is from Eureka Stamps, a sister company to QKR Stampede.
Don't you just love his leg warmers! I had such fun with this image! See what you can come up with! Although I went with a Xmas theme, you can do literally anything that trips your fancy!
I also made a couple other cards with this adorable guy.
For some reason, the red foil on this candy cane caught the light & the reflection makes it appear half green. In person, it is your standard red & white cane!
Don't you just love this little guy!
Have a great weekend!
