I know we all need get well cards and this is an easy one.  I grabbed a Memory Box Wrapped Scalloped Rectangles which is becoming one of my favorite dies! Love the wonky stitching around this beautiful scallops! The flowers were done with those Brides cans of flowers from Michaels.

We have all had days where we just feel like laying flat on our backs and staying in bed for the day! Luckily, I don't have too many of those days, but once in awhile they come along. This poor sheep looks like he is out for the count!

I love the floral paper behind this one! Another bargain I got at half off! And I loved every single sheet of paper in it! Bonus!!!

Headache?

Hello, friends!

Looks like someone has a major headache! Time to put ice on your forehead (or entire head works too) and take an aspirin.  Hope it is a "baby" aspirin!  He doesn't look too large does he?

I grabbed a new embossing folder for the background.  I've been using more of them lately & I like the effect.  Sometimes you don't have just exactly the paper you want.  I know....hard to believe with my paper stash I can't find exactly the paper I need!

Lacy birthday wishes!

Happy Monday!

Hope your week is starting off well & will just continue to get better each day! Today's card was a fun one.  Used the yellow paper I had left from the card I made yesterday and added a new border from Crafter's Companion Rustic Cottage Dies - Antique Edge.  I love borders like this and had to have it. The cute (and flat) flowers were made with some yellow & green "Bride's" cans of flowers I bought at Michaels years ago.  I have them in several colors & they are perfect for mailing as they are perfectly flat. I use the green flowers for leaves! Just cut them apart and they make perfect leaves for your little flowers.

And I can't let the day go by without a shout out to my daughter whose birthday it is today! Love you sweetie! And my grandson's is less than a week away.  He was almost born on her birthday!

Birthday wishes!

Enjoying your Sunday morning?  Me too! Church with my daughter first & now I'm working on cards for the first of the two craft shows I signed up for.  This one is October 27th so I'm working like crazy to get enough cards for both shows.  Especially since the second one is November 10th!  Not much time between to make more cards!

Used some of my favorite dies on this one along with a new border die.  The sentiment is cut with a Marianne Designs Oval #LR0240 (probably my favorite oval ever) and the flowers were done with Poppy Stamps Stitched Bloom Trio & Poppy Stamps Lorelai Leaf.  The border was a Poppy Stamps Stitched Heart Border.

Dance of the penquins!

Happy Saturday!

What is more fun that penquins marching past with their string of jingle bells?  Nothing I can think of!  It looks like they are preparing to have their own little Christmas parade! Too bad the last one got tangled in the cords and fell on his nose!

Lifestyle nesting doily ovals, Simon Says Stamp Melody Snowflake & Precius Marieke Snowflake Corner were all it took to make this into an awesome card. Of the Christmas cards I've done so far, I think this may be my favorite.

Best Witches!

Hi, again!

I love this Stamping Bella witch! She looks so cute riding her broom and I'm happy to see she doesn't have the typical black cat!  They get way too many bad reviews just because of their color.  As the "mother" of a black & white tuxedo cat, I can't tell you how gorgeous he is and how much I love him.
I've heard that animal shelters won't adopt out black cats just prior to Halloween because they are afraid they will be harmed.  I just don't get that concept at all! Harming ANY animal is just beyond inhuman to me.

On with our witch! I grabbed a Marianne Design spiderweb for the corners and added some spiders from my spider punch.  (Yes, I have a spider punch....I know....)

Tomorrow's Halloween card features a cute cat.

Ready for a fun week?  Now that the weather is getting cooler, I'm sure we all find lots to do outside. I'm lucky enough not to have to worry about that since we have year round yard guys here.  So I can spend my time working on much needed Christmas cards!  Today's is another Stamping Bella image and one of my favorites.  Yes, I say that a lot, don't I?  Guess I have to admit I just love all of them!

I can't imagine who put the skates on him, but the fact he is even standing impresses me! I added some Poppy Stamps stitched holly leaves for accent.

I hope your weather is better than ours! It's horribly cold here already and we are supposed to get from 5-6 inches of rain by Wednesday.  Yuk!  As cold as it is, I hope it doesn't change into snow!

It was so fun coloring her and I found some great paper to back her with.  The joys of having this much paper, I guess!

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes!

Well, you know the drill by now.  Fridays are QKR Stampede Challenge days! And the theme for the entire year is "Anything Goes" so that gives you a lot of wiggle room to pick your favorite theme or do a card you need for an upcoming holiday.  Since We are celebrating Halloween at the end of the month, I decided to go with a lot of those!

Dies R Us Challenge-"Anything Goes Using Dies Carried by DRU"

I'm guessing you have started putting out your fall decorations already haven't you?  Me too! I love fall!

Today's challenge at Dies R Us is another fun one! You can pick your favorite dies and create anything that makes you happy!  The only requirement is that the dies must be carried by Dies R Us!
