Hi, gals!
Where has the month gone? Hard to believe July is over already and August is on the way! One of these days we will be scurrying about trying to make Christmas cards! Lol So for now, let's enjoy the sun and concentrate on everything else. Today's QKR Stampede challenge is "Washi Tape" and I have to admit, although I had picked up a handful of different tapes, I had never really used any of them before today. I was really surprised at how much fun it was to use them and I know I will pick up more of it now.
Today's card was made with QKR digi # 12807 Write Soon. I used some gingham background paper and then covered a couple of shapes with gingham & floral washi tape for a fun look!
Next time I need a quick note card, this cute little guy will be waiting! Head on over to QKR Stampede's store to check out all the amazing stamps! And don't forget to join the challenge while you are there. Links to the blog are on the left.
Have a great weekend!

A Trio of Friends!
Hi, gals!
Hope your day is going well and you are making the most of the last of these beautiful July days. One of these days we will be talking about wind chills and snow and summer will be a distant happy memory! To celebrate summer I decided to use this darling digi image from Designed2Delight. I added 3 dies and presto!
The 3 dies I used for this happy card were Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers, Die Versions Corner Concept-Happy Birthday & Spellbinders Gold Elements.
Check out all the marvelous dies at Dies R Us, but be warned you will be addicted once you visit!
Be sure to head over to the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for a chance to win a gift certificate to the store!
I'll see you later with something else fun!

Dies R Us July 15th Challenge - Christmas In July
Hello again!
As sometimes happens, on the months that the 15th of the month lands on a Wednesday, I will have multiple posts for the day. Today, I will actually have three! One for my regular Dies R Us Inspiration Blog posting and one for the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. The third is for our teammate Darlene as a surprise birthday hop! So, if you scroll down past this post, you will find my first post for today for the Inspiration Blog & the birthday hop as well!
Today's Challenge theme is "Christmas in July!" and I had a lot of fun making this card. You wouldn't think you could get into making Christmas cards when it is hot outside but with all the gorgeous dies carried in the store, it was actually a lot of fun! After pulling out a ton of Christmas dies, I finally decided on these three for my card: Cheery Lynn Anastasia Border, Cheery Lynn Holly Corner & Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers. The adorable image is a digi from Mo Manning and one of my favorites.
Before I put away all of the other dies I pulled out while trying to decide which to use, I plan to make several other Christmas cards now that I'm in the mood! What a great way to get a head start on Christmas!
Be sure you head over to the store and see for yourself just how extensive the selection of Christmas dies is!
I hope you will all head to the Dies R Us Challenge Blog and add your Christmas card! You could be the winner of a gift certificate to the store!
Have a wonderful week!

QKR Challenge # 146 - For A Child
Happy Friday!
Are you ready for a great weekend? I'm guessing there will be fireworks of some type included, right?
Well, the challenge for QKR Stampede today is to create something for a child. Although this birthday card is not technically a July 4th card, it does have some stars & "out of this world" aspects. I used digi# 11901 - Star Catcher for this card.
I thought this was such a sweet image and perfect for a child's card! Check out the other adorable images available too! Head on over to QKR Stampede and be sure you enter the weekly challenge for a chance to win free stamps!
Have a safe & happy weekend! Don't burn any fingers!!

Hang In There!
Happy July!
Can you believe how quickly the summer is going! We had better enjoy it while it lasts!
Today I have a cute little cheer up card to share. I began with a darling digi image from Tiddly Inks and matted it with Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers. I used Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Three for the lacy edge and Memory Box Plush Bow for embellishment. All of these can be found at Dies R Us, although the scalloped borders & stitched rectangles are currently out of stock. Any time this happens, just add your name to the wait list & you will be notified the moment they are back.
Be sure to check out the new challenge at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog which just started today. You could be the lucky winner of a gift certificate to the fabulous store!
Until next time, make sure you take the time to create something! Beauty is good for the soul!
