Hi, everyone!
Well, here we are with the last Friday of the month already! This month has really flown, hasn't it?
I'm guessing many of you have someone in your family who will be graduating this month. My grandson will be celebrating his graduation with a great party tomorrow. Talk about time flying!! Seems like only yesterday that he was a baby and now he has grown into a fabulous young man.
I'm glad I had this card done ahead as I know how hectic this weekend will be!
Now....time for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge! The theme for today is Birthday Cards! We all need those in our stash! So grab your favorite stamps & dies & see what you can come up with. The winner will get their choice of some fabulous digi images! I used Digi# 14303 - Cowboy for mine.
I couldn't resist this cutie! LOVE his vest! ha ha
Head to the QKR Stampede store for some of their cute digi stamps! Or grab one of your old favorites and make a card! You may be the big winner this week!
Hugs,
Sherri

QKR Stampede Challenge - Things With Wings!
Hi, friends!
Another week come & gone! Hard to believe that May is half over already. I'm sure we will all be complaining about the heat one of these days! Just the way we complained about the cold all winter!
Today's QKR Stampede challenge theme is "Things With Wings!" and that leaves the field wide open! You could do fairies, angels, airplanes, birds, butterflies....whatever suits your fancy!
I went with Digi # 48001 (Eureka) Eagle. And decided to do a 4th of July card!
It was fun getting out my fourth of July dies and paper! I don't usually make a lot of cards for this holiday so it was a nice change of pace!
Enjoy your weekend!

Sherri

Dies R Us Challenge - Shaped Cards
Hello, friends!
Well, it's the fifteenth of the month and you know what that means! Time for another Dies R Us challenge! And the theme for this one is "Shaped Cards" which means we will have a lot of cute entries! I had actually started out with something else but remembered this die and made a different card. The die used is Frantic Stamper Kitchen Dress A2 Card Maker & there are endless combinations you can do with this cute die. I love to include this with "food" gifts! If you like to share Christmas cookies or fruitcake or candy with your friends, this is the perfect gift card to go with it.
I hope some of you will join the fun and submit a "shaped card" for this challenge! You could win a gift voucher to the amazing Dies R Us store!
Enjoy your week!

More Stamping Bella
Hello, everyone!
I've been missing in action the past few days. Between doing things to the house & taking trips and doing lunches, it has been a hectic week here. Which is NOT the normal for me! But lots of fun!
I did manage to make a birthday card for someone special & although her birthday isn't until the 17th, I know she doesn't ever check my blog so I am safe to post it.
The sentiment inside says "You're not ONE of a kind, you're my FAVORITE kind! Happy Birthday!"
This was a new Stamping Bella stamp I picked up last week when they had a great sale! Hard to pass up those sales, isn't it! Ha ha
Back soon with more cards!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Sherri

QKR Stampede Challenge - Graduation Cards
Hello, again!
Well, it's that time of year again, isn't it? I'm sure you all have at least one graduation coming up! I have a very special one coming up in 2 weeks! My grandson Josh is graduating from high school! It doesn't seem possible he is that old already. I still remember bringing him home & holding him on my lap! He was the most beautiful baby I've ever seen (with the possible exception of his mother). ha ha And he has grown into a handsome young man who is as beautiful outside as he is inside!
The QKR Stampede challenge for today is "Graduation" and I chose digi # 18804 (Eureka) Boy Graduate for my card.
Doesn't he look happy to be graduating? ha ha They have tons of cute graduation digi's at the QKR Stampede store. Head on over there if you need one. And be sure to submit your card for a chance to win some free digi stamps!
Until later! Have a great weekend!

Sherri

Hopefully, you will have some time to create a card for the QKR Stampede challenge. The theme this week is "Feminine/Mother's Day" and it's a perfect chance to kill 2 birds with one stone! Create your Mother's Day card so you don't have to scramble at the last minute and enter the contest to see if you can win some free digi stamps! A win, win for everyone!
For my card, I chose digi # 17504 - Rose Label. What a perfect way to say Happy Mother's

Dies R Us Challenge - Flowers
Happy May Day!
What better challenge for today than flowers! May first should be the start of our celebration of spring as well as May Day. Does anyone still celebrate May Day anymore??? When I was growing up (a hundred years ago) it used to be a big deal! You waited to see how many May baskets got left on your porch and you had to deliver a lot of them yourself! If kids now days aren't celebrating, they are missing one of the fun things of growing up!
Enough about May Day...time to get to our Dies R Us challenge! The challenge theme is Flowers and as long as you use just one die on your card you can enter for a chance to win a gift card to Dies R Us! If you have not shopped there, you need to! They have the largest selection, the best prices and lowest shipping rates I've found.
My card for this challenge is a birthday card. I used the following dies: Memory Box Garden Watering Can, Poppy Stamps Stitched Bloom Trio, Poppy Stamps Freida Leaf, and Sue Wilson Noble Collection-Ornate Pierced Design.
If you click on the photo you can see the stitched detail in the flowers. I LOVE anything with stitching!
Well, get your supplies together and see what you can come up with for this challenge! Head on over to the store to see all their amazing dies & I know you will want to join in the fun!
