What better challenge for today than flowers! May first should be the start of our celebration of spring as well as May Day. Does anyone still celebrate May Day anymore??? When I was growing up (a hundred years ago) it used to be a big deal! You waited to see how many May baskets got left on your porch and you had to deliver a lot of them yourself! If kids now days aren't celebrating, they are missing one of the fun things of growing up!
Enough about May Day...time to get to our Dies R Us challenge! The challenge theme is Flowers and as long as you use just one die on your card you can enter for a chance to win a gift card to Dies R Us! If you have not shopped there, you need to! My card for this challenge is a birthday card. I used the following dies: Memory Box Garden Watering Can, Poppy Stamps Stitched Bloom Trio, Poppy Stamps Freida Leaf, and Sue Wilson Noble Collection-Ornate Pierced Design.

Ack! So pretty! Those are the cutest flowers which I've been coveting for a long time. And what could be more perfect with them than the watering can? The Freida Leaf is a must have die. Another one I've always wanted. Too bad I'm on a buying hold. There are so many things about this card that inspire me, sigh... May Day was always a favorite when I was a kid. We made May baskets to hang on door knobs, and we did a May pole dance at school. One year I was sick at dance time, so I watched from the bleachers and it was a spectacular sight! Enjoy your day!
