QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes!

Another Friday and you know what that means.  Time for another QKR Stampede Challenge.  And as always, the theme is "Anything Goes" so grab your favorite supplies and join the fun.  The winner gets their choice of new digital stamps.

I grabbed Golfing Turtle Digi# 15307 for my card.  There are tons of guys who absolutely LIVE on the golf course so I figured this would be a great card for them!

I'm guessing he can't find his ball.  Which is probably how I would spend my whole day if I golfed.  I'm hoping this cutie will be snapped up right away at my next craft show.

Teapot get well cards

Happy Thursday, gals!

I found a darling teapot die that I knew would make a wonderful get well card.  I loved it so much, I actually made 2 of them. By changing just the background color and then adding them to embossed backgrounds you get totally different looks.

Somehow teapots always remind me of get well cards.  Probably because we all drink tea whenever we get sick.  Many times it's the only thing that will stay down.  I've actually become a regular tea drinker! I have at least 2 cups a day now.  My daughter introduced me to Harney & Sons Cinnamon Sunset Tea and I'm hooked on it! It's got orange, spices and it's amazing!  I never, ever drank tea before I found this!  You can find it on their website or on Amazon.  Walmart used to carry it but stopped but Target still carries it!

Enough about tea!  Hope you love the cards!

Christmas in white

Hi, again!

Well, this was actually a cut file that my friend Gail sent me awhile back.  She has a ton of cut files and a machine to cut them out for her.  I knew it would be beautiful paired with my Christmas greeting.

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes!

I decided on Bubbles Digi# 15412 for my card.  Fell in love with this happy little bear and knew there was a kid out there somewhere who would love him too!

How fun is this guy!  My daughtter loved bubbles when she was little.  And I have to admit, I've bought them for my cat too!  He loves chasing after them as they blow through the air!

Halloween cat

Hi, Gals!

Yes, I know....it's months from Halloween but as I've mentioned before I'm gearing up for two fall craft shows and will need plenty of Halloween, Christmas and Valentine cards.  This cutie just fell into my cart! Looks like he has grabbed his much loved (and well worn) witch hat and his pumpkin and he's ready to hit the road looking for treats!

You know me and cats! I can NEVER pass up a good cat stamp! In fact, I have an entire box of them in rubber and lots of digi files as well.

Christmas in gold

This card was actually made with a cut file from my friend Gail.  I'm not getting the gold to show up the way it should, but the red behind it is actually a deep, dark red.

The gold is reflecting off the flash and giving it weird colorations.  Back tomorrow with our weekly QKR Stampede challenge!

Yes, I'm jumping all over the place with holidays, but at least I'm getting my fall craft show cards done! ha ha

This stamp is from Plum Purdy and one of my all time favorites!  I've had it for years and years.  Way back when I used to tole paint every single night as soon as supper was done!  I was as addicted to that as I am to card making now.  Unfortunately, they no longer make stamps.  She was just a tole painter and made patterns for that. 

I never miss a year of coloring this image up!  I adore it and it breaks my heart that she no longer has stamps for sale.

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes!

Well, it's rolled around again! Time for another Friday challenge! One look at this image & I knew it would make a great guys card!  Most of them love to golf and this is so much fun! Love the look on his face! Doesn't appear to be too concerned with his swing does he?  Apparently, he is used to losing and has come to terms with it!  ha ha. I used digi# 14410, Golfing Mouse for my card!

He almost has that hopeless look doesn't he?  ha ha  What a fun, fun image! Just one of many you will see at QKR Stampede! They have a huge selection and it will blow your mind to see how many choices you have!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Fourth, everyone!

Yes, I know I should be posting a fourth of July card today, but I decided to go with a sweet birthday card instead.  Guess we are celebrating double birthdays today....This gal's and our nation!
Are you watching fireworks tonite?  We go out to a lake every year, take our lawn chairs and watch some spectacular fireworks! So I'm sure that's where I'll be tonight! The only bad part is trying to get out afterwards because hundreds and hundreds of people go to them and driving home is a nightmare! you wait in traffic forever waiting to merge in and get away!

How sweet is she! And she is also taking her sweet kitty along with her! Love the goggles on the cat! What a fun birthday card to make!

Another Christmas Card!
