Yes, I know, it is a bit early to be celebrating Halloween. But then, as someone who adores the holiday, you can never start too early, right? This is the first card I have been able to make all weekend. I should be working on birthday cards for work, but since the minute I got these stamps for part of my early Grandparent's Day goodies, I have been dying to try them out. Aren't they just the cutest little guys ever?
I LOVE "goofy" faces! (Explains how I can look in the mirror first thing in the morning!) I think I love Haloween because it is so full of silly characters & you can have such fun with your cards. These guys are from Stampendous. I colored them with copics & used some Martha Stewart punches for the border & wonderful fence. I think this is the first primarily white Halloween card I have ever done. I wanted to try something different for a change.
I hope all of you are enjoying the long weekend. Today is Dad's 89th birthday & after spending half the day with Mom at the nursing home, I took him gambling as that is his favorite thing to do & he rarely gets to do it. If I go once in 5 years, it is more than enough for me. I can't take the smokey air & all I think about when I am losing my $10 is what kind of stamp I could have bought. ha ha He enjoyed himself so that was the main thing & all I lost this time was $9. I guess making him happy was certainly worth it.
Catch you all later!
Now that's a spook-tacular card. You've know I not a big fan of Halloween, but I think this is exceptionally cute.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the punches you used. I'm tempted to buy them, but I know I wouldn't use them enough. Love the jack-o-lanterns. Especially the bandaged up one. He's too cute.

Every time I go shopping I think the same thing. I could be buying stamps. Your card is precious. I love this image.
