Hi,
Well, February in Iowa means you have to be ready for any kind of weather. After a mild winter, we got between 10-11 inches of snow according to the news tonite. I would have guessed more like 2 feet after clearing the sidewalks & driveway this morning! But maybe that was because the nice man driving the snowplow like a maniac was going so fast he threw all the snow from the street back into my driveway & buried the entire sidewalk again & I had to start over & do it all a second time! Why is it that the residential speed limit doesn't apply to snow plows???
Enough complaining! On with today's card. I have a pile of new ones I need to photograph, but won't share them until tomorrow. Today's is a sympathy card. I used one of my new birthday die sets from Memory Box and the sentiment is from one of my favorite sets of sympathy phrases from Papertrey Ink. The paper was from Recollections.
Have a wonderful weekend! Catch you later.

So pretty Sherri! I need some sympathy cards too... I better get busy... used up my weekly quota of creativity on those two western cards! lol We know exactly what you mean about the speeding snow plows... ugh! SO annoying. Then we have a private snow removal person that plows an alley from the block west of us, comes through the alley and brings the snow across the street shoving it into the curb...then the city plow comes by and pushes it all into the end of our driveway. ugh! I love watching it snow but I hate the trucks that come out and disturb the peacefulness of it! lol We live close to downtown so they clean up during the night... so loud in the early hours of the morning... with their back up beep, beep, beeping and blade dropping.... I better shut up! All that to say I identify!

ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful and serene. The die cut is just wonderful. Love the look of it. I saw the snow storms on the news and thought of you.
