Well, tonite it is back to basics for me! And that means a "girl" card! I can only do so many guy cards without going into withdrawal & only some lace or pearls or glitter will get me happy again. So this digi from A Day for Daisies is perfect for a quick "fix" isn't it?
I colored her with my Prismacolor brush markers and used some of my favorite Spellbinder dies to mat her. A few pearls for her hair and she was done. These aren't usually colors I use a lot, but I decided to get out of my comfort zone (aka: rut) and try something different for a change. I think we all have favorite colors and it is so easy to always reach for those.
Have a wonderful Friday! Summer is slipping away so quickly. Enjoy it while you can!
Catch you later.
Very pretty card. I have been wanting to use this image for so long. Maybe, I'll get around to it now.

ReplyDeleteNothing basic about this - it is beautiful and I am really liking the dies you are using and how you are combining them! So elegant! Your coloring is just beautiful too - love the pearls in her hair! Great job! Can you believe it is the middle of July? Wow! Time goes by faster as we get older - why is that? Big Hugs, CaroleAnn
Undeniable beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love this image and you have done it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this image! So beautifully colored, and I do love your color choices. Gorgeous red hair. Brilliant idea to add the pearls! It's so hard to settle down to a guy card sometimes but, yes, we all have to do them occasionally.
ReplyDeleteWow - layering different shaped dies is one of my fav things to do and yours came out wonderful. Terrific coloring on that sweet girl! Hugz!
