Hello, everyone!
I have so many dies I sometimes forget to pull them out & use them. I happened to be looking for a bird die the other day & came across this beauty. It is a Tutti Design Bird Tapestry die. It makes a beautiful card all by itself, but I added some flower corners from an old punch and perked it up even further.
I love this die and it makes a gorgeous card all by itself. I'll be back tomorrow with another bird themed card I also "discovered" while looking through my dies.
Hugs,
Sherri

With Sympathy
Howdy!
I have a lot of embossing folders and even have this one that also cuts out some areas. I forget to use them a lot but came across this one the other day & dragged it out. Unfortunately, wherever I found it, I have lost it again so can't tell you the exact name. The die, however, is Elizabeth Craft "With Sympathy" and I will look further for the embossing folder.
What a pretty card it made. I'll have to grab it more often!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

QKR Stampede Challenge - Give Thanks
Hello, again!
Since Thanksgiving is next week, it's a good time to remember all our blessings and to give thanks for them. The QKR Stampede challenge theme for today is "Give Thanks" and I'm sure you have lots of ideas for a card to do just that. I chose digi # 14515 - Hunting Turkey. I'm guessing he may be thankful he has a musket on his shoulder which should prevent him from becoming Thanksgiving dinner! The die is a Memory Box Cross Stitched Frame Borders.
I've always loved this cute turkey and he makes a perfect Thanksgiving card. Pull out your favorite stamps & see what you can come up with! What are YOU thankful for? I'm thankful for my family, first of all. And all of the many, many blessings I have been given. God has been VERY good to me, and I thank Him every single day!

Make mine with lace!
Hi, gals!
I have said many times that I adore lacy cards and this one is certainly lacy! I decided it would also be the perfect touch for a sympathy card. The die I used was Heartfelt Creations Layered Elegant Swirl.
How pretty is this! I love the shade of periwinkle too. It's fun trying different colors behind your lacy dies to see which one looks the best to you.
See you tomorrow with our Dies R Us Challenge!

Polka Dot Birthday Wishes
Happy Monday!
Enjoy your week! It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week already. Where does the time fly?
I love polka dots and this cheerful card would be one that would make me happy to receive.
I grabbed my favorite corner punch (which I know you have seen on many of my cards) and added more flowers to the corners. The flowers are all flat so will mail quite nicely.
The dies I used were Poppy Stamps Kirby Blooms and a Cheapo Stitched die.
See you tomorrow with another doily card.

Sherri

Birthday in Red!
Hello,
I love frilly doily like cards and always have. So I grabbed a favorite doily die and a birthday channel die to make this one. The dies I used were Poppy Stamps Happy Birthday Channel & Sue Wilson Configurations Collection-Lattice Arched Adornment.
It's amazing what you can do with a few special dies! No wonder I am addicted to them!
Check back tomorrow for another birthday card.

Christmas Joy!
Hi, everyone!
It's getting time to start thinking of those Christmas cards & I finally got around to one today.
This is a stamp I found on sale earlier this spring & had never colored up before. He turned out better than I expected so I guess he was a bargain! He is an Art Impressions "Warm Your Heart Set" and the dies I used are Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers and Die-Namites Elegant Holly & Cheery Lynn Holly Corner.
See you tomorrow with a birthday card.

Sherri
