Cats in hats!

Happy Saturday!

I'm sure you all think of Dr. Seuss when you think of a cat in a hat, but these too "foxy" ladies are so much cuter! 

This darling image was a gift from a dear friend.  It's a Loralie stamp and no longer available.  I first saw it when she sent it to me as a birthday card several years ago & I've been in love with it since! Although my cat Brady would look silly in a girl's hat, you have to admit that these two charmers are just adorable! I framed them in Lifestyle Nesting Doily Squares.

A birthday cat!

Hello, again!

I've had this silly cat stamp from Stamps Happen, Inc. for years & years.  Just something about him that always makes me laugh! He seems to be totally prepared for the birthday doesn't he?  Not only a cupcake, but chocolate cake & carrot cake along with gifts and a card!

What a great friend he is!  Ready to party right now in his party hat!

Isn't this a great frame!  I grabbed a Cheery Lynn exotic butterfly to go with it. I love anything with butterflies!

Dies R Us Challenge- Birds

Hello, friends!

Are you ready for another fun, fun challenge today?  Since it's the 15th of the month, it's time for another Dies R Us Challenge & the theme this time is "Birds" which gives you a lot of fun choices!
Dies R Us carries a fantastic assortment of bird related dies! 

Here is the card I finally decided on.

These dies made a gorgeous birthday card, didn't they!  The dies I used were as follows:
Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Oval Stackables, Precious Marieke Spring Flowers Square Frame, and Tutti Designs Lovely Dove.  This could easily have been made as a weddding or sympathy card too.
I love this gorgeous bird!

Polka Dot Get Well

Happy Monday, everyone!

We all need get well cards and I decided to go with some of my favorite paper & do a polka dot card. I cut the sentiment from the same paper and it shows up well in real life, but may be harder to see in the photo.

I decided to go with polka dot flowers as well.  This is a Sue Wilson Petite Peony Cluster die. It makes a great accent on any card.

Get Well Soon!

Hi, everyone & Happy Mother's Day!

Have you ever had a fever and wanted something really cold.....ice cream or maybe a popcycle?  It looks like Sally is helping her poor little buddy fight his temperature!  Sure looks like they are best of friends, doesn't it?

I hope her homegrown remedy will have him fit as a fiddle in no time!

Hopefully, you all have something fun planned with your family for today.  After church, we are all going to the Venue for Mother's Day brunch!  I can't wait! My mouth is watering already! Their food is undeniably the best in Lincoln! I'm sure I will eat my entire day's points there, but it will be worth it! I'm so glad I moved to Lincoln so I can spend days like this with my daughter & her family!

St. Pat's Day!

Hi, there!

Yes, I know St. Patrick's Day is over, but this Sassy Cheryl digi was just too cute not to color up! It certainly looks like he has already found his pot of gold!  Having a cute little kitty friend to help doesn't hurt either!

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes

Happy Friday, everyone!

Well, you survived the week and you are on the home stretch toward a great weekend!  Hopefully, that will include some time to enter today's QKR Stampede challenge.  The winner will win some awesome digi stamps!  Free stamps are always a good thing!!

For my card today, I decided to go with a cute crow .  This is Break Time digi # 11302 & I thought it would make a great guy card.

I went with bright primary colors and threw in some wheat dies from Impression Obsession.
He certainly looks like he is enjoying his break! I'm not sure what he will smell like when it's over, however....I doubt the fat little pig he is laying on smells like flowers!

Get well soon!

Hi, again!

I fell in love with this Sassy Cheryl image the minute I saw it.  I knew it would be perfect for a get well card! 

I printed the image on the polka dot paper & then fussy cut it out and shaded it.  I love adding background papers to my images to tie them all together!
