Remember that old song about the "Lady in Red" that was popular years ago? Many years ago, now that I think of it. lol I always thought it was a super song, probably because they sang it a lot on Days of Our Lives that year & I loved that show back then. Well, today's little lady is also in red. She is a Mo Manning image done in pencils & gamsol. I used a Cheery Lynn die behind her, and added some corner punches from Martha Stewart as well as a beautiful butterfly from Marianne Designs.
I'm hoping she will be a birthday card that will make someone smile when they receive it.
It's another beautiful day here, but tomorrow is supposed to be rain & thunderstorms. We can really use the rain, but not the storms. I hope you are all enjoying wonderful spring weather too!
Catch you all later!
I'm certain she will make someone smile! I love the punched detail and she is such a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she adorable!! I love that image and once again.. your colouring is fabulouso! I've been eyeing that die for a while and it's now a must have because it's so gorgeous on your card!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been around much...things are finally getting back to normal!

Fabulous cheery cherry card creating Sherri! She's a doll and that's a cool MD butterfly... haven't noticed that one b/4. I have one almost finished with one of her butterflies...hope it turns out! lol
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable in her cute little dress and pinafore. Your coloring with the pencils and gamsol is super. I do remember the song. Has it been that long?
