Well, it's back to basics for me today! I finished up the last of my Christmas cards & mailed them this morning. Thank Heavens! I didn't think I would ever get done this year. Now I can get back to basics & concentrate on building up a stash of cards for the rest of the year. On that note, I have a birthday card to share tonite that I made for one of the guys at work last week. He has a "challenged" cat named Bob. Bob, it appears, has some issues with his motor skills & is not great with jumping forward but can do quite well jumping straight up! I decided a cat theme would be perfect for his birthday card & I think he really liked it.
The paper is from Recollections, and the stamps were from an old Stampin Up set. I stamped the cat on the paper so I could paper piece the rug to match. It's colored in Prismacolor brush markers & the die was from Spellbinders.
I hope you all have a good week! And remember to count your blessings!!
Catch you later.
You always come up with exactly the perfect card. I think I would love this set. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute card, love the image and how you have done the rug.
ReplyDeleteI love your card. You put so much thought into your cards. He will love that you included Bob as the theme. Did I say this was purr-fect?
ReplyDeleteHow fun and cute this image is. That cat looks like it is up to something....lol I know your boss will love it.

That's funny, Sherri! What a great card.
ReplyDeleteHi Sherri! What a sweet funny card! The thing is I went back to as simple as I could as well when I felt Christmas was just around the corner. I admit I haven't done as many cards as I had in mind, but well, I'm happy Christmas is here eventually":)
ReplyDeleteStopped by to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Peaceful New Year! May it bring only good things to all of us!
