Double Fun Today!

Hi, everyone!

Welcome to a really fun post today!  As you can see from the title of today's post, we are going to have a DOUBLE dose of fun today!  Why??  Well, my  normal post day for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog is on Wednesday and my post day for the Dies R Us Challenge Blog is on the 15th of each month.  Well......you are ahead of me, aren't you?  Today happens to be Wednesday AND the 15th!  Both blog posts are due so I am combining them!

This first card will be for the Challenge Blog & our theme for this challenge is "Halloween" so I grabbed some of my favorite Halloween dies & a cute witch digi from Sassy Cheryl to come up with this card.

How spooky, right?  I used only two dies on this cutie.  Memory Box Harvest Moon Tree and Taylored Expressions Gothic Window Accessories.  These are my two new "go to" dies for Halloween!

You have until the end of the month to join this fun challenge for a chance to win a great gift certificate to the amazing Dies R Us store!  So work on some of your Halloween cards & kill two birds (or vultures) with one stone! lol

Now, on to the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog posting!  Here is my card for today's inspiration.

Like most of you, I usually make Christmas cards with traditional colors.  The same old red & green we are used to.  Well, I decided if Elvis could sing about a "Blue" Christmas, I could make a card in blue!  If it is good enough for Elvis, who am I to say no!

I used the following dies on this card and all can be purchased at Dies R Us. Spellbinders Labels Twenty, Poppy Stamps Small Luxe Poinsettia Outline, Poppy Stamps Small Luxe Poinsettia Background, Poppy Stamps Heart Lattice Background & Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaves.

I hope this little bit of inspiration will be enough to have you heading for your craft rooms AND your computers to check out the latest goodies at Dies R Us!

Catch you all later!

  1. Your Halloween card is just delightful. Well, you know how I'm not a fan of Halloween, but those dies and the Sassy Cheryl digi are just too cute.

  2. Adorable Halloween card! I absolutely love the other. You're doing your job. It makes me want to go and but those dies and make some Christmas cards. Pink is my favorite Christmas card color then blue. I can get really tired of red and green!

  4. I think Halloween cards are tons of fun and your little witch is adorable! The spooky tree in the full moon over the graveyard is awesome! Okay, now seriously, that may well be the prettiest Christmas card I've seen this year. I just love the Heart Lattice die you used behind the opening, which I love as well and do have that die. But the Heart Lattice! Also, I love how you used the Quill Leaves with the poinsettia. I've been a little die hog lately. Looked for flowers to go with the quill leaves, but couldn't decide. Do you have a recommendation?
