Well, this is my second post for the day and one I have been looking forward to! I LOVE this card. Sometimes you find an image that just speaks to you & this beautiful one from A Day For Daisies is one of my all-time favorites! What a sweet face! As with last week, I am posting twice because I am joining in the Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge for the week as a "step sister" with a paper piecing post. The challenge this week is to use paper piecing or paper piercing on a card. I loved this image so much I actually made two versions. Here is the version I submitted for the challenge:
And here is the second version I created. I went with black hair this time instead of red & a slightly different die setup.
I love them both! There is such a sweetness & innocence to this image! It's your turn now! Head on over to the Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge and join in! It's always fun to try a new challenge!
Catch you later!

These are both so sweet and pretty, Sherri! She does have such an adorable and innocent face. The die cuts you used are gorgeous! Love the paper piecing. I never think to do that.
ReplyDeleteI can not choose between either one of these - they are really sweet and I love your die cuts and how you put it all together. Hugs
