Dies R Us Challenge - Think Spring!

Hello, friends!

I had to laugh when I saw the theme for today's Dies R Us Challenge was "Think Spring" because I have been thinking of nothing else for weeks!  I am SO tired of winter and cold and ice & snow! I bet all of you are too!  So this will be a wonderful chance to forget winter & get your thoughts on spring and summer!

The dies I used today are the following:  Marianne Design Wooden Bench (DRU will offer these periodically throughout the year when they have their Eureopean Dies), Dee's Distinctively Tree Base 2, Dee's Distinctively Tree Toppers, Lawn Fawn Spring Showers, & Impression Obsession Cat Set.

QKR Stampede Challenge - Embossing of Any Kind

Hello, again!

Did everyone have a fantastic week?  And are you ready to relax & unwind?  Well, I have the perfect solution for you!  Grab your supplies & enter this week's QKR Stampede challenge!  The theme for this week is Embossing of Any Kind!  You are probably like me & have favorite embossing folders or techniques but forget to use them most of the time.  Now is your chance!  For my card, I chose an adorable digi # 14910 - Bunny Egg.  If you have finished your valentines, you may be working on your Easter cards!

QKR Stampede Challenge - Valentine Cards!

Happy February!

Are you already thinking ahead to Valentine's Day?  Well, if not, this week's challenge at QKR Stampede should help you get in the mood!  The theme this week is Valentine's Day!  Get out your favorite images and supplies & see what you can come up with!  I decided on ddigi # 6201- Heart Box Angel for my card.

Valentines are SO much fun to make!  I combined one of my favorite dies with one of my favorite border punches for this one.  I have tons & tons of Martha Stewart punches and forget to use them. With all the dies I have, I usually grab those instead.  I'll have to make a better attempt at using them from time to time.

Are you looking forward to a romantic evening or will you be staying home with a good book like those of us who are single?  At least I will be sure to have chocolate!  ha ha

Dies R Us Challenge - Hearts

Hello, everyone!

Can you believe it is February already?  And Valentine's Day is just around the corner!  If you are just starting on your Valentines, today's challenge will be perfect for you!  The challenge theme is "Hearts" and will fit right in with your cards!

I love Valentine's Day as it is the perfect time to tell all those you love just how much you do! And what better way than with a handmade card!  I used the following dies for mine:

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello, again!

Can you believe it is almost the end of January?  Now we just have to get through February & part of March before spring arrives!  HURRAY!!!!!

The QKR Stampede challenge for this week is "Anything Goes" and that is always a favorite with everyone!  Pick out your favorite subject matter, grab your favorite "go-to" stamps and dies & see what you can come up with!

I chose digi # 16910 - Nurse for my card.

It's always a great idea to have some get well cards on hand!  And since my stash was getting really low, I chose this cute ragdoll nurse.

QKR Stampede Challenge - One for the kids!

I hope you all had a wonderful week!  And I hope you are all keeping warm too!  I'm still counting the days until spring! Lol!

Dies R Us Challenge - Winter Blues

Hello, friends!

Can you believe January is half over already!  I am counting the days down until spring gets here!  I hate cold and snow & ice and want to just stay home & hibernate all winter!  How about you?  I bet I'm not the only one who feels this way!

Today's challenge at Dies R Us is "Winter Blues"......put on your thinking caps & come up with your best version of "Winter Blues" and you could be the winner of a great gift voucher to our amazing store.  There is no other website out there where you can find such an impressive number of die companies in one place!  And the shipping rates are also among the lowest around.

QKR Stampede Challenge - Clean & Simple

Hello, ladies!

It's Friday already & time for our latest QKR Stampede challenge!  The theme for today is "Clean & Simple" and this is really, really hard for me to do!  I LOVE clean & simple cards, but just can't do them well.  And to make this even more of a challenge for me, I decided to try out some new watercolor pens!  I printed the digi # 21001 - Hibiscus & Bee on watercolor paper and this was the result.

I had lots of fun doing the watercolors & will definitely try them again!  It's your turn to see what you can come up with!  You could be the big winner & get your choice of some great new digi stamps!

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything that makes you feel warm!

Hello, friends!

It's Friday again & time for this week's QKR Stampede weekly challenge.  The theme this time is a fun one!  Anything that makes you feel warm!  That gives you a lot of options, doesn't it?  For me, it was an easy choice.  I love all cats and all dogs! Well, basically, all critters! Since moving to my new home in Nebraska, I now have Canadian geese on the bank across from my sidewalk.  Awesome!!! And they stay here year round!  Even better!!  A neighbor told me there are also deer & fox but I haven't seen either yet.  My digi choice for today was digi # 20203 -Waiting Dog.

Dies R Us Challenge- Anything Goes

Happy New Year!!!

I hope you all had a safe New Year's Eve!  And let me be among the first to wish you a happy, healthy & wonderful 2017!

Now that the hustle & bustle of Christmas is over & things will begin to go back to normal, you may find yourself with some extra free time.  Take advantage of it & join us for the latest Dies R Us challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes & that leaves you a lot of room to be really creative!  The only rule is you must use at least one die.  If you are the winner, you could find yourself shopping at the amazing Dies R Us store with a new gift voucher!

For my card, I chose Poppy Stamps Cottage Corner & Tutti Designs Swirly Thanks dies.  They make a really feminine thank you card, don't they?

The great thing about the Cottage Corner die is that it also embosses!  It doesn't show up as well in this picture as it does in real life.
