Well, I know I promised an angel today, but looking at her, I think she is technically a "fairy" according to Mo Manning, the artist. But with wings, I am going to call her a Xmas angel. I did two cards with this image & both were a lot of fun to color. I added stickles to the ruffles of each skirt for a little glitter. A card isn't really finished until you add some glitter!
This is the first one I made, and my favorite of the two, although it was close trying to decide.
This is the second one I did. Both were colored with copics & the paper is from Recollections.
I have to work on some non-Xmas cards this afternoon, but will be back tomorrow with another post.
Hope you are all having a great weekend. We only got about 3 inches of snow, not the 5 they said at one time, so I was a happy camper! And my new snowblower made quick work of it, which I liked even better!
Catch you all later!
Both are gorgeous. But I especially like the green DP, the green ruffles and the matting on the second one
ReplyDeleteI think they are both beautiful, but I really like the striped paper and the pale blue coloring on the dress. Beautiful work.

ReplyDeleteOh, she's darling! Love her in both colors. What a precious image for a Christmas card. Those holly leaf wings are just adorable!
