As I look at this now, I'm wondering if I made it too "girly" for a guy. I may have to rethink this one! ha ha I fell in love with this tablecloth paper from Authentique. Wish I had bought several of these
6 X 6 pads now. The corners are made with a Marianne Design die & the stamps were from an old Stampin Up set I rarely use. it was colored with Prismacolor markers. If you haven't checked them out lately, they now come with the same brush tip as Copics & are also alcohol based, but at a fraction of the cost.
Catch you later! I think I better go work on a more "manly" card. ha ha
Great fun to see a picnic from the ants' point of view! I've not seen these stamps before. Isn't the weather strange this year? You've got a horrendous heatwave and we've had constant deluges! Mother Nature's all over the place!
ReplyDeleteGood job! More "layering" than you usually do. Cute card. I want one of everything when my birthday rolls around. I have so many favorites I could celebrate almost 365 days a year, Hmmm---would that mean presents ??

ReplyDeleteThese images are just too cute and I love how you designed everything - love that picnic type background paper! Hope it starts to cool off soon for you! Great card and I think your co-worker would like it - guy or gal! Hugs
Put a beer on the card. He'll love it! Seriously, this is just a super card. Do I detect glitter on those bugs? Super card/
ReplyDeleteOh! I really love your coloring on this! Love the stamps, too. I thought it was an OCL set at first. Those older stamps are still perfectly good. Glad to see them in use. This is soooooo cute! I'm so excited to hear about the Prismacolor markers! I started with them, but with the old tip. It was my most fervent desire that they would change to the brush tip like Copics. I might have to check them out. The price difference is huge. Thank you for the info!
ReplyDeletelooks like I haven't been around in a while. This is adorable. I just love the bugs. too cute!
