Hi, all!
Well, as promised, I'm back with a guy card stamped on cork. I needed another birthday card for work & this seemed like an easy & quick card. With so many birthday cards to make for work, I usually don't spend tons of time on them for the simple reason that I would get nothing else done. I've had as many as 6 in one week & you just can't spend hours on each one. Stamping on cork is an easy way to make a nifty guy card! It looks "manly" and is quite effective.
The classic car is from an old stamp that I've gotten a lot of "mileage" from if you will excuse the play on words! It's from Stampabilities. The paper is from Recollections & the cute little flourishes in the corner are from a Cheery Lynn die. You can buy the cork in thin sheets at Michaels or Hobby Lobby & it's very inexpensive. It glues well to your paper & you can get a lot of images out of a single 8.5 x 11 inch sheet.
Off to work on something else. Catch you later!
Cork, very interesting. I really like this card. I love the corners and I like to use plaids for guy cards and pages for scrapbooking too.
