I could tell I hadn't made a card for several days when I began this one earlier today. Actually, my first version was so bad I threw it away. Ever have one of those days? Just couldn't seem to get it together. So, this is my second try using this new stamp from Stamping Bella. I colored her in Prismacolor markers. The paper is from Recollections. The sentiment is one of Michael's dollar stamps from years past. I cut the foliage from Cheery Lynn Designs. The sentiment is cut from a Spellbinder die. I made the flower (after about 3 attempts) from a new Cuttlebug kit that gives you flower & leaf dies as well as a quilling tool to roll it with. It looks somewhat better in real life. Let's go with that, shall we? ha ha
We may actually get some rain tonite. Got my fingers crossed!! Have a great Saturday. I'll catch you later!
Really pretty card. I love that you used two different polka dot papers. I'm having trouble learning to use my flower dies. I see cards made with them and the flowers are absolutely perfect. Mine have only been good enough for the circular file so far. I should practice this weekend.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel badly. That is where a lot of mine have ended up too!
DeleteI think you're too hard on yourself. I think the flower looks great even on my computer screen and she's a real sweetie sitting on her swing.
ReplyDeleteI bet the first one was pretty too. Pretty card.
