Another hot day!
The heat continues. It is supposed to be 101 degrees or more here today & it is already up to 97. I thought that was hot until I heard the weather channel say Oklahoma City was expecting 112. I hope my nephew's air conditioner is working!
Today I have a quick thank you card. This one was done with pencils & gamsol from a beautiful image by Alexandra Be sure to visit her blog to check out her amazing sketches & beautiful cards.
The ribbon & buttons were from my stash. The paper was from a pad by Me & My Big Ideas. I cut it out with a Lifestyle Nesting Doily Oval. I wanted to do a quick card to give the light box a better test than yesterday's gray sympathy card. I think Josh nailed it when he came up with this version of a box don't you? Everything is MUCH brighter now. He spent all afternoon yesterday trying different placement of the lights until he came upon this one. I'm going to miss him when he goes home!
Better get going. I think we are going to watch a movie! Catch you later!

ReplyDeleteSounds like your having a great time with your grandson there, and he seems to be a great help. You card is so pretty and I really love the flowers. You colored them perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThis paper is the perfect match for the beautifully coloured flowers. Hope the movie was good!
