MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I'm guessing most of you won't have a spare minute to check blogs today, you will be much too busy with family & friends enjoying the true meaning of the day. So, if you are getting to this post a week later, I completely understand. Christmas SHOULD be about family, friends and the celebration of Jesus. Too often we get caught up in everything else & forget the real reason we celebrate.
Since there is still a QKR Stampede challenge today, I will post my entry for this week's theme: Snowman or Snowflake. I used digi # 14214 Selling Snowflakes. I decided I couldn't go wrong with a snowman selling snowflakes!
If you need a last minute card for someone you left off your list, this one is about as quick to color as you will find! You could easily make one in time to give yet and nobody would be the wiser!
I want to wish everyone a totally awesome and fantastic Christmas! I love Christmas & I always feel that at this time of the year, people are just a little bit kinder, a little bit more considerate and a lot more thoughtful than at any other time of the year. For me it is a time of reflection on all the blessings I have been given. This year will be hard for all of us. When Mom passed away, it changed Christmas forever. With Dad gone now too, we will have to find a new tradition...a new way to celebrate all the blessings & love that still remain. Change is just part of growth. So whether you are celebrating the same way you have for countless years or celebrating your first Christmas with new traditions, I wish you health, happiness & peace! No matter HOW we are celebrating this day, we are still celebrating the most wonderful gift God could ever have given us!

Just my kind of card. Lot's of white, pretty red accents and cute wonderfully colored snowman.
ReplyDeleteI count you among my blessings. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Sorry I haven't been by in so long. Having a heck of a time healing. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful message, Sherri. I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I know it must be different and a bit melancholy without your Dad this year. It certainly changed things for us when the older folks passed away. That leaves me and Rich now as the old folks in the family. This truly is a darling image! I love that he's selling snowflakes. I guess I didn't notice that before. What a pretty, pretty card with all those gorgeous snowflakes!
