Hi, everyone!
Are you ready for a change of scene? I'm sure you are tired of flowers at this point! ha ha I decided I needed a change of pace myself, so what better change than a Halloween card! This is one of Sassy Cheryl's newest digi images and I had to grab it the minute I saw it. I knew she would be a perfect Halloween image & knew I had just the spider web die to go with her. I do LOVE Halloween! There is something about all the cute "scary" images that always makes me smile. Probably thinking back to the days when I was young & all the crazy costumes we went out in....and all the huge PAPER sacks we filled to the top with candy, cookies, bars, popcorn balls.....all the things you can't pass out (or let your kids accept) now. Remember how hot the rubber masks were & how you couldn't see out of the eye holes? Oh, I'm really dating myself today! ha ha I still remember one year when we went with the girls across the street and one of them was dressed as a devil, complete with long red tail. Her tail kept falling off & we had to stop every house or so to pin it back on to her red pants. I wonder if any of you have similar memories?
This card was so much fun, I may have to sort through the Halloween baskets to see what other cute stamps I can come up with!
Stay tuned tomorrow for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge!

And so it begins. You're all in for Halloween now, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteWell I can't think there is a cuter way to start than with this adorable image and die. Wonderfully creative and down right awesome! Continue on...
super cute Sherri! she's a doll!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're one who can see the fun of Halloween, Sherri. What a great chance to make some really cute cards, and this one is adorable! Love the image, paper, and the spider web die. I'll have to check if I got that one. I have some new papers, dies, and images ready and waiting and I'm so glad I have friends I can send the cards to. I have great memories of taking our son trick or treating. We used to make him the most fabulous costumes. I'll be looking forward to more of your Halloween cards as the time grows near!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Halloween card Sherri, love this cute image and gorgeous spider webs with spider.
