Hi, friends!
I'm sure you were wondering where I've been the past couple of days after so many days of posting each day. Well, I was trying to work ahead on my posts for QKR Stampede during part of that time, and the rest of it was spent trying something new! Flowers made with vellum....my new passion! They are extremely time consuming, but worth every minute.
Here are my first 2 cards.
The lavender is actually a very soft lavender in real life, but I'm still playing with the photo effects on my new computer. At least you get the idea.....
I loved the pink as a birthday card. Guess I should have taken it from a different angle. Partially opened, it looks like the top left corner isn't perfect, but you are looking at the reflection from the back side of the card. I definitely need photography lessons from my genius grandson! ha ha
I'm going to play again this afternoon & see what other fun things I can add some flowers to! Hopefully, I will be back tomorrow!
Enjoy your week!

I always forget how beautiful flowers and leaves look when cut from vellum. These are scrumptiously gorgeous! The white embossing really brings out their beauty. Love them in combination with the fabulous Marianne die cuts. Love that you used your corner punches again, too. I was wondering where you were the last couple of days. Glad you're back!
ReplyDeleteI also love vellum flowers Sherri! beautiful colours you have used..that background die sure is beautiful.
