Hope your weekend is going great & you are enjoying every minute of it! Even though I am retired, I still enjoy weekends for some odd reason! ha ha Probably because I get to see family then and my daughter & I can do things on Saturdays!
Yes, it is another thank you card. Sorry, but I had a large order for them and had a lot of fun coming up with different things. For today's card I went with Memory Box Sonora Rose (which cuts AND embosses!) and Spellbinders Elegant Ovals (one of my go to dies).
I loved this background paper! Although I normally don't buy single sheets of any paper, I saw this in a scrapbook store & picked up 2 of them. Now I wish I had gotten more! Love the bright, happy colors and pattern of it!

I love that paper, too! Pretty colors and a happy flower pattern that's not too big for cards. I like a small pattern for cards. Your die cut flower is a perfect color match and the black die makes the sentiment focal point really pop. After years of working and looking forward to weekends it's just ingrained in us to love them, I guess. However, I love being able to go do things during the week when other people are at work. It's so nice that you live close enough to your family now to spend more weekend time enjoying them.
