Can you believe this is the last day of April already? Do you have your May baskets ready to go? I wonder how many young families still celebrate May Day? I have lots of fond memories of May Day when I was young! The popcorn & candy that you filled the baskets with....always putting EXTRA candy in the baskets of anyone you liked, of course! We spent a lot of happy hours making the baskets, popping the corn & filling & delivering them. I hope this charming tradition has survived!
Today I am sharing a sympathy card made with a new die. It caught my eye the minute I first saw it & I knew it would join my collection at some point. I decided it would be a good sympathy card for a man. Instead of mounting the triptych directly on the front, I cut the squares on the front & mounted the tree inside. Hopefully, the two pictures will show what I did.
I used the Poppy Stamps Tree Triptych die for this card.

ReplyDeleteIt does make the perfect masculine sympathy card. I remember seeing this die when it first came out. I wasn't sure exactly what it would look like in use, but now I see how awesome it is. I really love this, Sherri. Very nice with the windows on the front panel and the trees inside.
