We all need sympathy cards from time to time.  The most we can hope for is that the person needing them is not a dear friend or relative. 

This great die makes gorgeous cards with very little effort! It's one of my favorites!

Warm & Fuzzy Penquins

Hi, again!
Wo doesn't love penquins!  They have such a cute little waddle when they walk and always look like they are going to a formal dinner.

These little guys went into my cart the minute I saw it!

Obviously they are madly in love.  They are even sharing the same scarf!  This image is another Stamping Bella and you know where my willpower is with that company!  Non-existant!

Snow globe Christmas!

Hi, guys!
Everyone loves snowglobes! I've seen some gorgeous ones & even know a gal who collects them!
This little guy just made me smile.

Looks like he and his little pals are having a great time! This one just grabbed me....again! I know I say that a lot, but it's true.  Sometimes you just see a stamp or die that you can't stop thinking about so you might as well grab it.

Hi, gals!

Who doesn't love Dracula!  I remember watching the movies when I was growing up and being terrified! Now days they look pretty fake! Technology has really come a long, long way since this was first released!

This is another old, old stamp I've had for years.  And, yes, it gets colored up every year.  I'm a creature of habits, apparently!  ha ha

This gorgeous frame makes a really beautiful and quick card.  I've done it in two different colors as I loved it so much.

Cat in witch hat

Hi, gals!

This is another of my favorite Plum Purdy stamps and one I color up every single year, without fail! I'm in love with it, as well as the other Plum Purdy stamps I got years ago.  I'm SO, SO sorry that she doesn't offer stamps anymore!  I know all my stamping friends would love to get their hands on these cuties!

I actually emailed the gal at Plum Purdy this morning and told her she is missing out on a lot of sales because all of my stamping friends would LOVE to get their hands on her stamps!  Will see what happens.  Crossing my fingers!!

QKR Stampede Weekly Challenge-"Anything Goes"

Well, it's Friday again which means it's time for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge and as always the theme is "Anything Goes". 
I decided to make my card into a baby card using digi#8601. Air Mail

   Doesn't he make a darling baby card?  I knew immediately I would make him into a baby card.  I grabbed Taylored Expressions Block Party-Baby.

Hedgehogs riding a broom

Hi, gals!
Who doesn't love hedgehogs! I've always loved them and have tons of Penny Black stamps featuring hedgehogs.  My daughter even bought me a stuffed one for my craft room and he's adorable.

They look like they are on a mission tonight, don't they?  No doubt, out to scare as many kids as they can! Unfortunately, they are just so darned cute I don't think they will scare anybody!

Bathtub birthday!

Who wouldn't love to spend their birthday soaking in a bubble bath!  Sounds like a fun day!

Get well cats

Hi, gals!

I don't know about you, but my cat Brady always sticks to me like glue when I'm not feeling well.  He seems to know somehow and never leaves my side.  And as silly as it might sound, it's always a comfort to have him snuggling close.

Looks like these poor little guys have been in a fight and came out the loser! This is one of my all-time favorite stamps.  It's an Inky Antics stamp named Hurtin Burton.  I'll never get rid of him because I adore him and use him a lot.

Cat & Dog

Hi, Gals!

A simple card today featuring a cat & dog. Pretty simple!

Sometimes you just need a little card to drop an old friend a short note! I have a lot of gals who come to my craft shows looking for cards that are blank inside so they can send a handwritten note to their best friend.

This should really fill the bill.  Especially if they are a cat or dog "mom"...

Dies R Us Challenge-Birthdays!

Hi, Gals!

Time for our fifteenth of the month Dies R Us Challenge again.  Where does the time go?
We have some exciting news to share with you. 

 Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts.  

It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

How cute is this little guy!  Looks like he has found a really tiny friend for a guy so big! They always say that opposites  attract so it must be true!

Grabbed one of my favorite snowflake frames and put this cutie in the middle of it.  What a quick and fun card to make!

Gnomes

Hi, gals!

Who doesn't love gnomes! They have such squat little bodies and sweet faces you are drawn to them immediately.  These guys make the perfect card to keep in touch with someone.

And I love the sentiment with this Stamping Bella image too! I adore anything that Stamping Bella puts out.  I have about 105 of them now and they still grab me when they have their Tuesday sales!

Plant a garden!

I'm sure you are all thinking I must be crazy to even talk about gardens with snow on the ground! But one of these days it WILL be spring!  It always comes and saves us from all the horror of winter!

This was a Stamping Bella image and you know how much I LOVE their stuff!  I have a REALLY hard time not just getting everything and I live for their Tuesday sales when you can find great stuff for next to nothing.

This has such a great sentiment too!  It's impossible not to love her!

Snowflakes

Hi, gals!

Guessing it looks like this at your house, doesn't it?  Lots of snowflakes and snow!
This was an easy card to make once I pulled my favorite snowflake frame from my stash.

A couple of snowflakes around the sentiment and it was done.  Fun, quick and gorgeous!

Hi, gals!

This is one of my favorite frames!  LOVE the gorgeous lacy snowflakes! It's one I use a lot! 

And the little snowman is from one of my really, really old Stamping Up sets. He's sure to be retired by now.

I'm guessing you probably have enough snow at your house to build your own snowman! I'm always tempted when we get snow to go outside and make a snowman but I'm sure the neighbors would think I had lost my mind!  That was always something my daughter and I loved to do in the winters. I remember many happy snowmen over the years.  Wonderful memories!!

I know, Christmas is over, but while it's cold outside you can start working on your cards for next year!

Nobody likes to need a sympathy card, but unfortunately, we sometimes do.  And it's always fun to send a handmade card instead of a purchased one.  I think it makes the person getting it feel that you really care.

I grabbed one of my new frame dies for this card and it makes a gorgeous card instantly.

Happy, New Year's, everyone!

I know I should be posting a New Year's card today, but found this adorable Stamping Bella Stamp that just jumped into my cart!  LOVE the sentiment!  Yup, that's exactly how I feel about birthdays! No counting points, just enjoy the day! On your birthday, calories just don't count!

I have to say this is one of my favorite Stamping Bella stamps!  Something about her standing there with an entire cake and making no apologies for it just made me smile!
