A Poppy Birthday!

Happy Hump Day!

You've made it half way through the week which means you don't have far to go before the weekend!
I grabbed one of my favorite Stamping Bella stamps for this cute birthday card.  I LOVE the poppies! They have always been one of my favorite flowers and I actually had some at my old house.

I grabbed a floral embossing folder for the background.  Don't you just adore this image?
I have a ton of Stamping Bella stamps and can't seem to get enough of them.

Enjoy the little things!

Good morning, everyone!

Have you had your morning cup of coffee yet?  Or do you prefer tea?  I usually go for coffee myself, but have found a tea that I adore! It's from Harney & Sons and comes in a cute orange tin. It's called Hot Cinnamon Sunset and it's black tea, cinnamon, orange and sweet cloves.  It's out of this world, & I'm not usally a tea person.  You can get it online or at Walmart.  The card I'm sharing today has a cup of mice....not tea or coffee.  Ha ha   Bet we all hope we NEVER find a cup of mice!

This is another Stamping Bella stamp.  And I used an embossing folder for the background to mimic the dots in the coffee cup.

Today I have a quick but beautiful Anniversary card to share. The die I used was a Tattered Lace Window Display Delicate Detail Blossom Corner!  The sentiment was an Elizabeth Craft die.

How easy it this?  A nice sentiment on the inside & you are done! I'll be back tomorrow with a cute birthday card.

Well, it's getting to be that season where we will all be getting colds, flu, or seasonal allergies! So it might be a good idea to restock your supply of get well cards!

I used a Tattered Lace Window Display Delicate Detail Floral Corner for this card.  The sentiment is from Impression Obsession.

I love these dies that leave just the impression and let your base paper show through.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Hump Day!

As I post this, I'm sitting here watching my favorite squirrel (Alvin) hanging from my sunflower feeder and gorging himself! Because of him I go through an enormous amount of sunflower seeds! I just bought another 20 pound bag this morning.  ha ha  If he gets any fatter he won't be able to run if my fox (Charlotte) comes looking for breakfast! Yes, I know.....I've named all my favorite critters. You have to when you see them all day, every day and you get attached to them!

Today I'm sharing a couple of quick birthday cards.  I used a Tattered Lace Delicate Details Flourish on each of them.

This die is great for a card that takes only minutes yet looks like you spent hours on it.

I have a couple of thank you cards to share tomorrow using the same type die.

Today's challenge at Dies R Us is another fun one! The theme for this one is "What's Your Number?" and you can qualify using anything with a number on it! I decided to go for a 50th anniversary card since I have a craft show coming up and that might be a good thing to have!

I think we should all remember to give thanks for all the many blessings we have! I'm a firm believer in doing just that! And not a day goes by that I don't thank God for his blessings!

What could be cuter than an adorable racoon hiding behind a pumpkin?  I actually have a racoon who comes to my house.  After finding out how destructive they are though, I've started taking down the sunflower feeder at night since that seems to be his prime objective!  I put it back each morning so my beautiful birds and my two squirrels (one black & the other red) can enjoy it too.  They spend hours hanging from it eating the sunflower seeds!

Hello, again!

What says fall more than squirrels?  They always seem to be busy scurrying around to hide their nuts when the weather cools down.  I think my favorite commercial of all time was the one years ago that featured 3M post it notes!  They had covered a tree with them  & each had directions to a buried nut! Am I the only one who remembers that one? 

I grabbed my Lawn Fawn stitched small leaves for accents.
