I’m Melissa Barnett, Sherri’s daughter.  I wanted to let you know that Sherri has moved to a memory care facility.  Her extensive collection of die cuts is over 1100.  Her Grandson has created a website to sell those dies at 75-90% off retail.  Sherri would like nothing more than for her dies to be used to create beautiful art.

We all love giraffes, or at least I do!  And this little guy was too cute to pass up! Getting a funny card always cheers you up when you are sick! I'm blessed to live in Lincoln, Nebraska because our zoo lets you feed the giraffes!  I can't wait to do it!  My daughter and her husband did it a couple weeks ago and fell in love with them! They have the most beautiful faces and the longest eyelashes in the world.  AND the longest tongues! They were both amazed at how long the tongues were!

This was actually a Stamping Up set that I ordered because it was so darned cute! It had a ton of cute stamps & I loved the sentiments with each of them.

Dies R Us Challenge-"Anything Goes Using Dies Carried by DRU"

Hi, Gals!
Hard to believe it is April first already.  Where did the winter go? The theme for today's challenge is "Anything Goes Using Dies Carried by DRU".  Which gives you a ton of choices!
I decided to use Precious Marieke Early Spring Flowers Square as a frame. And I added Memory Box Cherry Flower Collage to the center. I decided this would be a lovely Birthday Card, so that's what I made it into.

Easter Dogs!

How many of you with dogs have ever put bunny ears on them?  I bet at least some of you have.  How cute do they look in bunny ears!

This kind of reminds me of my neighbor's dog Pepper Ann. Her mom Denise brought her down to my house at Easter and she had easter ears on!  She was absolutely adorable! I adore her anyway. She's a miniature schnauzer and we love each other totally.  She wiggles so hard when she sees me that she turns sideways! If she is outside & I come home from the grocery store, she will meet me at the garage door and walk me home!

Dies R US Challenge-Things With Wings

Hi, Gals!

Time for our 15th of the month Dies R Us Challenge-The theme this time is "Things With Wings" which leaves you a lot of room.  I decided to go with Tutti Designs Lovely Dove and framed it with a Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Oval Stackables. By using the same lavender as the outside I was able to use this as a frame which worked out well.

I decided to go with a sympathy card.  It seems I am using more and more of them the older I get.

What great advice for all of us!  Just be YOU!  Don't try to be someone you aren't!   I loved this image from Sassy Cheryl's digis.  I did two versions of it just to try out different frames.

I liked both of them, but maybe prefer the corner die version just a tad more.  At least I think so.
Wouldn't this be a cute card to send to a granddaughter or niece?

Poppies for your birthday!

Another Stamping Bella image I couldn't pass up.  I now have 110 of their gorgeous stamps. I LIVE for their Tuesday sales when everything is marked down to ridiculous prices.

I loved this image so much I actually made two of them using different background dies.  I love them both.  Absolutely adore this stamp!  What a gorgeous card to color up!

Who doesn't love coffee!

Hi, ladies!

Who doesn't love coffee!  I can't live without it!  I plan my entire day around it  as I'm sure you do too.  These cute Gnomes were on sale at Stamping Bella the other day & I just had to grab them!

They were just too darned cute to pass up.  And on sale....even better! I didn't put a sentiment in it.  Just left it blank so you can send a note to your coffee loving friends!

And just so you think I drink nothing BUT coffee, I should confess I DO drink Harney & Sons Sunset Cinnamon tea!  I am not usually a tea drinker, but this stuff is addictive!  I have at least 2 cups a day. You need to try it.  I used to find it at Walmart but they stopped carrying it.  You can still find it at Target though!  Even if you don't like tea, you need to try this stuff!  It's awesome!

Have a "ducky" birthday!

Hard to resist a cute duck, especially when he is on sale at half price at Sassy Cheryl's !  I love anything with ducks!  Another weird quirk, just like I love all cow things!

Must be because they are all "critters" and I can't pass any critter up! I love hedgehogs too and Penny Black makes the best hedgehogs anywhere!

I thought this would be a cute birthday card for someone with a great sense of humor.

Which is most of my friends! If you aren't willing to laugh at yourself, you probably aren't my best friend.  I LOVE laughing.  And can laugh at myself too!

Christmas Joy!

Christmas is always a time of joy and these adorable snowmen are sure to add to it. They are Sassy Cheryl images and were on sale for $1....yes, you heard me correctly! Unbelievable and you can see why I couldn't pass them up.  I bought several images on her sale & you will be seeing them in the days ahead.

How cute are these little guys! I have a lot of her snowmen but I think these are some of my favorites!
Yes, I know Christmas is past, and we should be thinking about Valentines, but it never hurts to get a jump start on next year's cards!

Warm & Fuzzy Penquins

Wo doesn't love penquins!  They have such a cute little waddle when they walk and always look like they are going to a formal dinner.

These little guys went into my cart the minute I saw it!

Obviously they are madly in love.  They are even sharing the same scarf!  This image is another Stamping Bella and you know where my willpower is with that company!  Non-existant!

Snow globe Christmas!

This little guy just made me smile.

Who doesn't love Dracula!  I remember watching the movies when I was growing up and being terrified! Now days they look pretty fake! Technology has really come a long, long way since this was first released!

This is another old, old stamp I've had for years.  And, yes, it gets colored up every year.  I'm a creature of habits, apparently!  ha ha

This is another of my favorite Plum Purdy stamps and one I color up every single year, without fail! I'm in love with it, as well as the other Plum Purdy stamps I got years ago.  I'm SO, SO sorry that she doesn't offer stamps anymore!  I know all my stamping friends would love to get their hands on these cuties!

I actually emailed the gal at Plum Purdy this morning and told her she is missing out on a lot of sales because all of my stamping friends would LOVE to get their hands on her stamps!  Will see what happens.  Crossing my fingers!!

Hedgehogs riding a broom

Who doesn't love hedgehogs! I've always loved them and have tons of Penny Black stamps featuring hedgehogs.  My daughter even bought me a stuffed one for my craft room and he's adorable.

They look like they are on a mission tonight, don't they?  No doubt, out to scare as many kids as they can! Unfortunately, they are just so darned cute I don't think they will scare anybody!

Get well cats

Hi, gals!

I don't know about you, but my cat Brady always sticks to me like glue when I'm not feeling well.  He seems to know somehow and never leaves my side.  And as silly as it might sound, it's always a comfort to have him snuggling close.

Looks like these poor little guys have been in a fight and came out the loser! This is one of my all-time favorite stamps.  It's an Inky Antics stamp named Hurtin Burton.  I'll never get rid of him because I adore him and use him a lot.
