What a fun birthday card this was to make!  I used an old die and a new one for this card and loved the end result.  The new border die is an Impression Obsession Serendipity Heart Scroll Valance & Scallop border die.  What a joy it is to play with!

As someone who used to love fishing, I can see how easy it would be to fall asleep while you are sitting there.  It's quiet, relaxing and at times, boring while you wait for a nibble.

What a fun image this guy is for a guy's birthday card.  This is a Art Impressions stamp and I love it!  Every guy dreams of celebrating his birthday just laying around in his pajamas and doing nothing all day! 

Actually, I think most of us would love to do the same thing if we will admit it!   Except, of course, you might want to get dressed if you are having a birthday party!  ha ha

Tool guy!

Happy Hump Day, gals!

Well, I've found the perfect card for a guy...especially if he is into tools! And what guy isn't?  I have to admit, I even have my own tool set!  When you live alone you have to be able to do minor things around the house by yourself.  Even have my own power screwdriver and power saw! 

This is a Tutti Designs die called Tool set.  Combined with this digi which I fussy cut, it makes a great guy card.  I'm hoping it will be snapped up at the craft shows this fall!

Yes, I know it's a bit early for Thanksgiving cards but this image from Plum Purdy has always been a favorite and gets colored up every single year.

I'm so, so sad this company no longer makes rubber stamps!  So the ones I do have already are really treasured!

Happy Tuesday, gals!

Hope your week is going well and will just get better every day.   I grabbed one of my favorite Penny Black hedgehog stamps for this one.  I color it up every single year!  I adore it and am so glad I moved it with me instead of donating it.

Don't they look like they are up to no good!  And the spooky tree and bats just add to the spookiness!

Of "Corset's" your birthday! "Cluck" up your heels!

Hi, gals,

This has always been one of my favorite stamps and I use it a lot.  It makes the perfect silly card to give your best friend.  And yes, I have lots & lots of chicken sentiments to go with all my chickens.  Who knew I had a chicken "thing!"  ha ha  I guess they are technically a "critter" and you know how much I adore all my critters!

Right now I'm watching Theodore hanging from my sunflower feeder filling his little tummy with my sunflower seeds!  If he gets any fatter, Charlotte (my fox) will be able to catch him for breakfast. I can't tell you how many bags of sunflower seeds I buy!  But watching Theodore is so entertaining, it is worth it!

I demand a recount!

Hi, gals!

Another chuckle for today.  I LOVE this crabby old guy!  I'll bet he keeps things lively around  him at all times!  And once we hit a certain age, I think we would all like a recount on our age!

For the inside sentiment, I went with "Don't worry about another birthday. Old will always be 10 years older than we are." I try to remember that every birthday!  ha ha

Dies R US Challenge - Trees and/or Leaves

Hi, gals!

Hard to believe today is November 1st already.  About time to see our first snowfall of the year, isn't it? I don't know about you, but I never look forward to winter! I love the change of seasons though so I wouldn't want to live somewhere that didn't have that.  I love watching the flowers pop their heads up in the spring and the grass turning green and all the leaves opening on the trees.  And in summer, I love not having to grab a coat, gloves, scarf etc. like you do in the winter. At least my car warms up quickly! I hate sitting there waiting for it to get warm enough to drive off.


                


The dies I used for my card are as follows: Dee's Distinctevely Tree Base 1, Dee's Distinctively Tree Base 2, Dee's Distinctively Tree Toppers, and Sue Wilson Stitvched Lattice Frames.
