Snowman party!

Hi, everyone!

Ready for the final card of the month?  Can you believe tomorrow is February first already!!  Bring on the Valentines!  And the chocolates!  ha ha  The best part of ANY holiday has to be the candy! Easter is for carmel filled eggs, Halloween is for ANYTHING, Thanksgiving is for candy corn, Christmas is for fudge and Valentine's day is for anything chocolate! And the more, the better!
Perhaps I'm the only one who equates holidays with candy!  ha ha

Anyway, today's Christmas card is another Stampin Up image that is as least 20 years old.

I grabbed my favorite Precious Marieke Christmas Snowflake Frame....the one I go to for 3/4 of my cards!  Buying this die was the best decision I've made yet!

What better way to celebrate than with an ugly cat sweater?  ha ha  This is an old stamp from Stamps Happen...another company that has gone out of business.

Not only is his sweater ugly, but it's also way too large! You can't even see his poor paws!
At least he is in the holiday spirit! Now all he needs is an ugly sweater contest he can enter!

Santa's coming!

Hello, again!

Yes, I know....Santa has ALREADY come! But every year I tell myself I am going to start my Christmas cards early and this year I am actually doing it! So bear with me if you are sick of Christmas.  Hopefully, you may get encouraged to start working on YOUR cards for next year!

This is an old, old stamp from Hook's Lines, Inkers from 1993!  I'm sure they aren't even in business anymore.

This is a fun card to color up !  I'm glad I have saved it all these years!

Think of how many Christmas cards you could get done by next year if you start now!

Here is another simple to make thank you card.  I chose a Tattered Lace Floral Bouquet die for the beautiful flowers.  A simple thanks and you are done.

Doesn't this make a pretty card?  I love using floral dies to make cards! Especially the lacy ones.

Dies R Us Challenge - Use Anything New!

Hello, again!

The month is flying by and it's time for our fifteenth of the month challenge already! Today's theme is a fun one again.  Use anything new!  I was really excited to see this theme because I had just gotten a fabulous new die for our store.  As a chocoloholic who ALWAYS loves anything chocolate, I just had to grab this fabulous die the minute I saw it! 

The dies I used were Tattered Lace Things Are Getting Worse, Send More Chocolate and Poppy Stamps Stitched Bloom Trio.

And if you have a chocolate lover among your friends this is the perfect card to send them!  It's sure to bring a big chuckle!

Wedding Fever

Hi, again!

Well, this time of the year a lot of people start thinking about weddings.  With Valentine's Day coming up I'm sure there will be a lot of proposals coming .  So better have some wedding cards ready, gals!

I grabbed a couple of my favorite dies for this stunner in black & white. Apparently, I've misfiled the bride & groom die so I can't tell you which brand they are, but I'm guessing Tutti Designs.  The frame is made with a Precious Marieke Early Spring Flowers Square Frame.

You can't go wrong with a black & white card.  So many weddings these days are going with those colors.

A sympathy basket

I have always loved this digi "Flower Basket" from QKR Stampede.  I have colored it in spring colors and fall colors and it always comes out beautifully!  Today I went with fall colors.

I went with another embossed background again.  I'm really getting into embossed backgrounds.

I had to do the daisies in blue and mat them with my favorite paper, blue gingham.  Daisies just kind of look like something that would go best with gingham!

Are you ready for an anniversary card?  I love to send handmade cards for anniversaries. They always seem a bit more special.

I loved the paper I used on this one & I cut the flowers from it too.  This is made with a Sue Wilson Daisy Cluster.  It makes a beautiful card & you can change the look of it with just a change of papers. You will see that tomorrow.

Well, it's that time of year when the flu and colds and all kinds of nasty things are going around. You will probably be needing some get well cards.  This is a quick & easy one.

The flowers were made with Poppy Stamps Stitched Bloom Trio and and leaves with Poppy Stamps Sylvan Sprig.  I embossed the background on this one.

Can you believe we are already into the new year?  Where did the old one go??? 

I know the New Year has already officially started, but I just had to post this card featuring digi# 14405-Father Time.  It just seemed appropriate, somehow to start the month with him.

There really aren't a lot of father time stamps out there, are there?  I was thrilled to find this one in our QKR Stampede store!  I hope your year is off to a wonderful start and will be the most wonderful year yet! And let's hope we don't have a brutal winter this year while we are making wishes!! ha ha

I hope everyone survived New Year's eve!  And I hope your weather is mild enough to get out & get around.  This time of year you never know what to expect!

This is a Day For Daisies digi that is one of my favorites.  I've colored her more times than I can count.  This time I added an embossed background behind her.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, our zoo is actully adding a building where you will be able to feed real giraffes and it is due to open in 2019!  I'm so excited!

Can you believe it is already 2019?  Where did the year go?  I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Year's Eve!

Today's challenge is a fun one and gives you a lot of leeway!  You can use any die carried by the Dies R Us store! Which means you can chose among hundreds and hundreds!  I pulled out some of my favorite dies for this fun challenge.
