Hi, gals!

I actually sent this to my nephew's wife who is battling breast cancer.  So far her scans & tests are showing that she is beating it!  Thank God!!  I pray for her daily and know prayers make a lot of difference!

What a fun way to cheer up a friend who needs a hug! We all go through times when a hug would make a world of difference and if you can't give a hug, this card would work too!

Yes, I know, I already posted this little gal earlier, but in another color.  I went with totally different dies for this one and a softer pink for a more feminine look.

Just changing the dies you use makes a world of difference doesn't it?  This one is much more feminine!

QKR Stampede Weekly Challenge- Anything Goes!

Hi, gals,
It's Friday again and time for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge! Grab your favvorite dies or stamps and join in the fun.  I used digi# 6805 Bunny & Butterfly for my card.  I adore this bunny!

Isn't he just the sweetest you have ever seen?  I use him a lot and he is one of my favorite images for Easter cards too!  Although Easter is over, I post these far enough ahead that I guarantee I will be sending this cutie out with my Easter cards! And as you can see, he also makes a darling birthday card!

Happy Halloween!

Yes, I know it's a little early, but wanted to get started early.  Just too many irons in the fire right now.

How cute is this little goblin! I LOVE Halloween! Always have and always will! Unfortunately, where my townhouse is now, it's in a 55+ community and we have no kids here at all.  On Halloween you get NO trick or treaters at all!  I HATE that!  I had 50-60 or more at home! Now I just make bags for my neighbor gals and my family. 

At least I can still decorate my house for it!

Double dose of sympathy

Yes, I know....more sympathy cards!  But when you get on a roll, you are on a roll! These cards used the same die but just different colors of paper.  Both are beautiful!

I'm always amazed at the difference just changing a background color can make!
I won't promise I won't have more sympathy cards tomorrow.

Dies R Us Challenge - April Showers (anything water related)

Hello, again!

Well, it's time for our fifteenth of the month challenge at Dies R Us!  I had such a fun time working on the card for this one! What a fun, fun theme!! The theme is April showers (anything water related) and I grabbed some dies I don't get to use a lot.  I grabbed Avery Elle Sentimental Die Set, Lawn Fawn Spring Showers, Lawn Fawn Rainbow and Memory Box Proper Umbrella.

What a fun card this was!  Darlene always comes up with the best challenge themes! I decided this would make a great birthday card.

Baby card!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

This is one of my favorite baby images from QKR Stampede and one I use a lot.  It always makes a really cute card and you can change it from boy to girl with a simple change of paper.

How cute is this!  I can't imagine having a baby that big!  Don't know how mommy elephants manage to do it!  ha ha

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes

Well, it's Friday again so that means it's time for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge! As always, the theme is Anything Goes so you have plenty of room to go with anything your heart desires.
For my post, I decided on Digi# 5601 Air Mail.  I thought it would be a great way to send someone a short note! 

A lot of gals at my craft shows look for cards that are blank inside so they can send a handwritten note to their friends.  I always make sure I have plenty on hand!  Thankfully, there are still a lot of people who don't limit their contact to emails alone!

Hello, friends!

Nobody likes to make sympathy cards, but we all need them. And as we get older, we seem to need them a lot more often.

This was a pretty digital stamp I got.  I knew it would make a great background for a simple message in the center.  You could easily change it to a birthday card, thinking about you, get well, or anything else you desired!

Christmas again!

This was actually a die cut that my friend Gail sent me.  She has a lot of "cut" files, so I'm sure this is one of them.  I knew if I married it to my favorite Merry Christmas die it would be perfect.

Happy Birthday gal!

How cute is this Magnolia stamp! Another fun stamp I got when Dies R Us had their last stamp sale! I fell in love with her & knew she would look perfect sitting on a bench.  Grabbed my favorite bench die & she was ready.

How fun is this little scene?  A couple of clouds, some trees and she was ready! You can never have too many birthday cards!

Actually, this one has already been sent out so I'm hoping the gal who gets her will love her.

Dies R Us Challenge-Flowers

Hello, friends!

I'm so happy to see all of you today! Does anyone still make May baskets?  That was one of my favorite things to do growing up and again when my daughter was little!  We got pretty creative with them too!

And since today is May 1st, it is time for our first of the month Dies R Us Challenge! The theme today is one of my favorites! Flowers!!!  Who doesn't love flowers!   I had so much fun making this card!

Basically the only requirement is to use dies carried by Dies R Us and they have hundreds of them!  For my card, I decided on some of my favorites, of course.  I grabbed Yvonne Creations Spring-tastic Corner and Tattered Lace Flower Cart.  Together they make a beautiful card and perfect for a birthday!
