A Happy Hello!

Happy Hump Day!

And a "happy hello" to everyone as well!  It's almost time for this month to end and I wanted to celebrate the warmer weather with a happy little note card today for my post on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.  I found a darling image at Tiddly Inks that I wanted & knew exactly which dies from Dies R Us I wanted to add to it! Memory Box Fairytale Flower Frame and Cheery Lynn Exotic Small Butterflies #2 were perfect to carry on the flower & butterfly theme the digi already had going!

I rarely go with lavenders for my cards, but LOVED this one!  I may have to re-think my color choices and start branching out of my comfort zone!

Head on over to the store to see what amazing dies you can find & then head to the Dies R Us Challenge Blog to join in on all the fun!

Happy Crafting!

Happy Friday!

Can you believe this is the last Friday in April and next week will be May already?  Wow!   Today's challenge at QKR Stampede is "Make a Guy Card" & I know how we all groan when we have to make one. But this little digi # 16103 - Old Golfer really made it fun for a change.

Add a couple of my favorite dies from Dies R Us and the card almost made itself!  Now it's your turn!  See what you can come up with for this challenge!

A Parade of Elephants!

Happy Hump Day!

Surprise!  Instead of a parade of camels, we have a parade of elephants today!  Yup!  Didn't think you would be tuning in for that did you?  ha ha  I couldn't help it!  I got this darling Tattered Lace Elephant die the other day & fell in love with it.  I just kept coming up with all kinds of ways to use it on a card (which also explains WHY I am sharing 4 cards today instead of one.

This first card is just the elephants done in primary colors.  (Think of decorating a gift bag or gift wrap with these little guys!)

I had also gotten 2 lacy dies in the same order so I pulled those out & tried some lacy cards! This first is made with Cheery Lynn Dutch Scallop Square.

And finally, I used Spellbinders Romantic Rose for the last 2 cards, varying the dies for totally different looks.

Be sure you check these dies out at the Dies R Us store!  And don't forget to check their daily Inspiration Blog for more ideas!

QKR Stampede Challenge # 135 - Spring Flowers

Hi, everyone!

Can you believe it's Friday again already!  Where does the time go?  At least spring is closer and we can all concentrate on THAT instead of winter!  Today's QKR Stampede challenge is "Spring Flowers" and although we usually think of QKR as our source for adorable critters, they also have some beautiful flower digi stamps as well.  I chose # 17507 - Flower Accent for my card!

I didn't add a sentiment to the front as I'm undecided if I will use this as a thank you, a birthday or just a hello card yet!

Head on down to the QKR Stampede challenge & see what you can find for YOUR garden!

April Flowers Bring May Flowers/Read All About It!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Since it is officially Spring, it is also time for April showers to bring us May flowers!  We have had such a dry winter & spring in our area, that we can really use some nice soaking rains. Since this Wednesday also happens to be the 15th of the month, I will be sharing 2 cards today.  This first one is for the Dies R Us Challenge Blog!  Be sure you head on over there & join in on the fun for a chance to win a gift certificate! The challenge this time is "April Showers Bring May Flowers" and you must use a handmade flower on your card.  With all the incredible dies available at the Dies R Us store, you should have no problem finding exactly the flower you need!

This card was made with the following dies:  Frantic Stamper Fancy Leaves, Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly Small #2, Sue Wilson Italian Collection-Umbria, & Cheery Lynn Sweet William.

How cute is this image?  It is a digi from Tiddly Inks.  They have some darling stamps!

Now, for my regular Wednesday post for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog, here is the card I am sharing!

Using a Mo Manning digi, I fussy cut him then began building a little scene using the following dies:
Poppy Stamps Classic Ribbons, Memory Box Puffy Clouds, Dee's Distinctively Tree Base 2, Dee's Distinctively Tree Toppers, Impression Obsession Bench, Impression Obsession Cat Die Set, & Poppy Stamps Antique Lamp Post.

To create the "arm" on my lamp post, I simply cut a second post & trimmed off the top light & scrollwork! A great way to add a sentiment to your scene!  And, of course, I had to add a little white to the cat so he looked like Brady!

Hope you liked both of today's cards!  All of the dies are available at the awesome Dies R Us store!  NOBODY carries more dies, has lower prices or lower shipping rates!!

Catch you again soon!

QKR Stampede # 134 - Bunnies

Hi, gals!

Happy Friday!  Another weekend at last!  And time for another QKR Stampede challenge!  The theme this week is Bunnies!  What could be a better indication of spring coming than a yard full of bunnies!  I know they eat a lot of stuff in your yard, but I LOVE seeing them there!  Since I am actually working ahead on things I went with Digi # 11407 - Hello which I planned to use as an Easter card.

I loved this bunny!  She just spoke to me with her silly straw hat & cute little dress.  I had to add a basket of eggs to her hand to get her ready to help the Easter Bunny!

Head on over to QKR Stampede for the chance to win several QKR Stamps while you are having a lot of fun!  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Enjoy your weekend, ladies!

Those "Pesky" guy cards!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going well & you are ready for some spring weather!  And with spring weather, comes golf!  Keeping that in mind, I decided this would be a great time to do one of those "pesky" guy cards we all hate to make!  This scene is just so cute, I'm hoping it will be a hit with a guy's birthday.

The dies I used for this scene are: Tattered Lace Panarama Tree Silhouette, Memory Box Mini Golf Carts, Memory Box Puffy Clouds, & Impression Obsession Bench.  The golfer is an Art Impressions stamp.

I hope this gives you some ideas for your next guy birthday card!  With these dies, it is so easy to create a beautiful scene!  Check them out at the Dies R Us store!

Be sure to check out the Dies R Us Inspiration and Challenge Blogs too!  Lots of great ideas by our fabulous design team and a chance to win a gift certificate with our challenges!

Enjoy your week!

QKR Stampede # 133 - April showers

Hi, all!

Well, it's finally April and spring is on the way!  You know the old saying "April showers bring May flowers?"  Well, this week the theme for the QKR Stampede is April Showers!  There were tons of cute stamps I could have chosen, but for some reason, I decided that # 13210 Taking a shower & #14707 April Showers would be my best  choice.

Maybe I should have gone with something not so "loud" but this floral paper just made me laugh & I could see it in her bathroom!  From the look of her shower, she is a little behind the times so floral wallpaper would be right at home.

Head on over to QKR Stampede to see what you can find for YOUR entry!

Have a great weekend!

Bring on the Chocolate!

Happy Hump Day, gals!

What better way to start the day than by talking about chocolate bunnies!  Any day with chocolate is a GOOD day!  Today's post on the Dies R Us Inspiration blog is this sweet Easter card with this yummy chocolate bunny!  I thought it was a great last minute card & it was so easy to do.  Here are the dies & embossing folder I used and all can be found at Dies R Us:

Sizzix Butterfly Lattice Embossing Folder set
Memory Box Bountiful Basket
Impression Obsession Easter Greetings
Impression Obsession Chocolate Bunny
Spellbinders Elegant Ovals

I hope this gives you some ideas for those last minute Easter cards of your own......OR acts as a reminder to be sure to grab some of those chocolate bunnies before they are all gone!  (And while you are grabbing bunnies, don't forget the cream filled chocolate eggs!!  My mouth is watering just thinking about them!

Enjoy the rest of your week!
