QKR Stampede Challenge- Anything Goes!

Yes, I know it's a little early to be posting Easter cards, but this cute image just grabbed me the minute I saw it.  This is Bunny Bath digi# 15207.  It won't be long before spring craft shows will be coming, and I know I will need lots of Easter cards then.

Boy, he looks busy scrubbing his Easter eggs!  Hope he doesn't scrub all the color off! That big brush looks like it could take it off in a second.

Maybe this will get you in the mood for Easter cards too!

Double dose of sympathy

Hi, gals!

This is the die I found at Hobby Lobby.  It makes a gorgeous background for anything you want to use.  When you cut one of these you realize that cutting a second one means they will fit together to make a perfect 5 1/2 inch card.

I actually ended up making 4 of these in different colors.  It was just such a lot of fun I couldn't help it!

I love this stamp!  It's a Plum Purdy stamp which is no longer available.  The gal who designed it was primarily a tole painter.

I fell in love with this cute gal and her two little puppies! I knew she would make a great card for a young gal! 

More of my favorite dies!  Do you have favorites?  Or is it just me?  I have some that are just automatic go to when I make a card.  Which is remarkable considering I have over a thousand dies now.  Yes....I'm addicted!

Well, I'm still working on Christmas cards and at this point I have tons of them done already! Yay!!
This little guy is an old, old, Stamping Up stamp I've had forever!

By adding my favorite snowflake frame he was finished in a hurry.  I love this frame because it also embosses.

Aren't these happy little penquins just addorable! Looks like they are partying hard and having a great time! Dancing, streamers...the whole works!

I did this card in two colors and loved them both.  I'm guessing a kid somewhere would love them! Kids always love happy little critters!  I do too!  ha ha

QKR Stampede Challenge - Anything Goes!

Happy Friday, everyone!

Yup, it's that time again.  Grab your favorite supplies and join the fun.  With a theme of anything goes, you can make whatever card you need most at the moment.

I decided on Branding Digi# 10004 for my card.  Couldn't resist this cute bear dressed in his cowboy gear!  Added a couple of my favorite cowboy dies and he was done!

I'm sure he is heading over to brand some cows by the looks of his branding iron!  I'm not sure I could do that!  It has to hurt like crazy!  And I don't think I have the heart for it.  So I'll stick to creating cards where I know I'm not causing anyone pain....not even a cow.

What is there about simple cards that is always so beautiful!  A couple of corner dies, a gorgeous embossed center die and a simple rose....I love it!

Happy Tuesday!
I love this cute jogger from my stash of Mo Manning digi's.  And of course, I had to do him in Husker colors!  You can't live in Nebraska (especially Lincoln) without wearing red on game day! I think there must be an unwritten law about it.

Hopefully, someone will grab him up at the next craft shows just because he is wearing Husker red! Yes, we are pretty finatical about red here!  I've had the kool aid too and find myself wearing Husker shirts on game day along with everyone else.  I've gone from someone who hated football and NEVER watched it to someone who is glued to the set every game day.  Who knew!  ha ha

A good day fishing!

How many of you like to go fishing?  I have to admit that I miss those days.  It was always so relaxing sitting on the bank watching the river flow by and hoping for a big fish! Whenever I went with dad, he preferred to use corn for bait instead of worms!  Which was fine with me!! No way I could have picked up a squishy worm and hooked him on.   Yuk!

I loved this digi the minute I saw it! It's from Sparkle & Sprinkle & I knew it would be a beautiful image to color.  I could have made it into a get well card, thank you card, sympathy card or any number of things but decided to go with a birthday card.

Grabbed my favorite die of all time and an old, old corner punch and it was finished!
