Let's celebrate anniversarys!

Happy Hump Day!

Can you believe tomorrow is February already?  Let's hope the rest of the winter flys by as quickly as the last couple of months so we can get back to warm weather & pack away our coats & boots for another year!

I'm actually sharing 3 different anniversary cards today.  Yup!  Overload for sure!! But I was determined to finish up before February and this was the only way.  Promise I won't do this again!

This first card was done with a Penny Johnson Stampavie stamp called Bubbly Bears.  I matted them with a couple of  Memory Box Stitched Scalloped Circles dies.

These next two cards were done with a Whipper Snapper stamp called Yin & Yang.  I thought they would be perfect for an anniversary card.  They have such sweet faces & look like they are in love.
The card on the left was matted with Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval Stackables and the card at the right was matted with Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackables.  The corner dies were from a Cherry Lynn Lace Corner Deco B die set.  There are 3 dies in this set & all of them are beautiful!

Yay!!!!!  I'm caught up now so I can begin working on my Valentines!  Thanks for staying with me through all of this!

Another "Two-fer"

Hello, again!

As you can tell, I'm trying to get all my extra stash posted before February so I can finally concentrate on Valentine cards!  So you will have to bear with me today & tomorrow.

This first weddding card was done with a die I usually reserve for Valentines, but decided would be the perfect backdrop for this swan heart.  I used Poppy Stamps Heart Lattice Background behind the Frantic Stamper Swans in Love Heart.  What a perfect card for a wedding!

I loved this card! There was just something about it with the beautiful frame and that lovely cake that appealed to me!  The frame is a Memory Box Fairytale Flower Frame (and a favorite) and the cake is a Die-versions Wedding Cake die.  Together they created a really sweet wedding card.

Back tomorrow with the last of my multiple postings!  Hurray!!!

Baby Blocks!

Happy Monday!

May your week be awesome &  full of blessings!  Each day is a gift and we should enjoy them all to the fullest measure!

Today I'm sharing two sweet birthday cards made with a new die and an old favorite.  The new die is a Frantic Stamper Baby Square and the old one is my favorite square die...Joy Craft Square. I have used this one so many times I truly can't believe it still cuts as well as it does! But it never, ever lets me down and always makes a beautiful card!

I made one in pink & one in blue.

I'll be back tomorrow with two wedding cards!

Wedding Gazebo

Hi, friends!

Here are two more wedding cards made with the following dies: Lifestyle Nesting Doily Rectangles, Die-Versions Garden Gazebo & Die Namites  Wedding Canopy.

I've always loved this gazebo.  All my life I wanted one!  And how thankful I am that I moved to Lincoln because I now have a beautiful one just outside my front windows!  I don't know of a more beautiful view anywhere!  There is a beautiful woods just behind the gazebo & just below that is a huge pond that is always filled with Canadian geese.  I've seen deer, fox, and more critters than I can count.  Yet, I'm only a block away from one of the main streets & close to all kinds of shopping & restaurants.  I've truly been blessed!

Back tomorrow with a couple of  baby cards.

QKR Stampede Challenge-Anything Goes

Hello, again!

Time for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge! Where did the week go?  I wanted a card to add to my "guy" cards stash.  So when I saw this Digi# 20405-Fish & Basket, I knew it would be perfect for a guy card!

When I saw this digi, I knew exactly which dies I would pull out to go with it! Cheery Lynn Fishing Boat Set and Die-Namites Cattails dies came to the rescue! Dies always make even the cutest image look even better!

Back tomorrow!

Triple Play Baby Cards!

Hello, again!

As promised, I am going to overload you today with 3 different baby cards.  I have been having so much fun making these & wish I had a reason to send one!

The first card is a stork.  I used a long classic scalloped rectangles die (Spellbinders, I think), the Taylored Expressions Block Party-Baby die, & the Impression Obsession Stork die.

Card number two was done with the Spellbinder Long Rectangle, the baby die and Cheery Lynn Choo Choo dies.  Perfect for a little boy!

The last of these is actually my favorite! I used an Amy Design Clothesline die with the baby cutout and matted it with the Spellbinder Long Rectangle. I grabbed my favorite corner punch for a more feminine look.

I'll switch gears tomorrow & we will do wedding cards.

Baby Buggy fun!

Hi, gals!

And happy hump day! I have some fun baby cards to share today! I've been trying to create more baby, wedding & anniversary cards to replenish my stash.  Here are the first of them.

I love gingham for baby cards! It was a no brainer to grab some pink & blue for these cards. I also used the Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, Marianne Designs Baby Buggy and Taylored Expressions Block Party-Baby dies.  A quick bow to finish & they were done.

Since I'm trying to finish up all these cards before February, I will be sharing 3 of them tomorrow. I want February to be all about Valentine's Day!

A double batch of cuteness!

Hello, friends!

You all know how I adore Stamping Bella stamps....what can I say, they had another Tuesday sale a while back & this little trio just jumped into my cart!  It comes with several sentiments and I used one of them to make it into a birthday card and made the other into a Christmas card.

The snowflakes were made with Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes.  I love that set! They are nice, sturdy snowflakes & gorgeous to boot!

Christmas Fun!

Hello!

Are you ready for a card that will have you smiling?  This is a Sassy Cheryl's digi and you can tell both kids are having the time of their lives building this happy snowman!  He looks pretty happy as well.  I used a Sue Wilson Noble Collection -Ornate Pierced Squares die to cut this out and trimmed the corners of my card to follow the largest die.

One more day of winter cards & then I promise we will switch to something else!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Hump Day!

As promised, I have a birthday card using one of my all time favorite images from A Day for Daisies. There is something so sweet about this little gal that I can't resist!

I grabbed an old embossing folder for the background.

Changing gears again tomorrow, I have a baby card.

Hugs,
Sherri

It's snow much fun....

Hi, everyone!

Another cat Christmas card.  This would also make a cute thinking of you card for someone in the winter season.  This is an Inky Antic's stamp. The snowflake is a Simon Says Stamp snowflake called Eliza. The bottom edge is my new favorite winter die from Precious Marieke called Snowflake Border.

There are several cute stamps in this set from Our Craft Lounge which is called Purr-fect Wishes.

I'll see you tomorrow with a Sassy Cheryl digi I love.

Hugs,
Sherri

Have a Purrrrfect Christmas!

Hello, again!

I don't know how many of you are cat lovers, but this is another card my daughter wanted me to make.  I adore cats & if I had the room and money I could easily see myself becoming the "crazy cat lady" of the neighborhood.  I love dogs too! I could never have one when I worked because I couldn't go home at noon to let them out & it wouldn't be fair to leave them cooped up all day.  So I have to love on my friend Denise's dog Peppy Ann.  She is a Schnauzer and loves me as much as I love her.  Their townhouse is just down the street from mine & whenever she is out & sees me coming home from the store, she meets me at the garage & walks me back to her house.  They are the last house closest to the garages.

Enough rambling on....time for the Christmas card. The stamp is from a set called Purr-fect Wishes by Our Craft Lounge. The holly is from Poppy Stamps Stitched Holly Leaves & Berries and the ovals are Lawn Fawn Small & Large Stitched Oval Stackables.

This looks like something Brady would have done when he was younger, but thankfully, he is past that stage now! He even leaves the Christmas tree alone!  These days he prefers to sit under it & admire all the twinkling lights!

Can you say GRUMPY?

Hi, gals!

As promised, I'm back today with another chuckle.  This stamp always makes me laugh! She looks like such a grumpy, frumpy, miserable person who most definitely needs a strong cup of coffee to make her human again. This is another Art Impressions stamp & I've had it since I first began stamping.  And it's one I would never get rid of.  I love her too much! I used the same sentiment on these two as the card yesterday.  I did one in blue and one in pink.

I'm hoping these grumpy little ladies will be a hit at the craft show I am making them for.
As you probably do too, I post ahead and the craft show is for December 2nd.

My daughter was actually the one who reminded me to make a couple with this stamp.  She has always loved it & wanted to know why she hadn't seen me use it for awhile.

Sherri

A little chuckle!

Happy Hump Day!

Hopefully, your week is going well & you are ready for a little chuckle!  The older I get the more I appreciate a good chuckle & today's card should certainly provide that! I have had this Art Impressions stamp for years & still enjoy using it!  I always pair it up with another Art Impressions stamp that says "Happy Birthday....from one glamorous babe to another!"  I have several stamps I use this sentiment for & will share another one tomorrow.

I paper pieced the couch she was sitting on.   This just looked like the type of couch she probably has.  ha ha

Are you someone who loves a good chuckle with your cards or do you prefer a more serious one?

Thinking of You!

Hi, there!

Well, you know how much I love Stamping Bella stamps & this one was on sale so.......(the devil made me do it!)  ha ha  I love their Tuesday sales! You can pick up some of the most darling stamps for about half price. I cut them out with Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackables & Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

What a great way to keep in touch with an old friend! You can leave the inside blank & do a handwritten note to catch up on news.  Emails are great, but it's always a bigger treat to get happy mail in the mailbox instead of junk mail.

Sherri

Dies R Us Challenge - Kids Kards!

Hello, everyone!

Are you ready for another fun challenge?  This one is a really fun one! Today's theme is Kids Kards!
We all need those, don't we?  And how fun they are to make!

I decided to go with bright primary colors for my card since kids all relate to those!

All kids like to go to the park, and I think they all love cats & dogs! I had a lot of fun putting this fun scene together and these are the dies I used: Taylored Expressions Balloons, Impression Obsession Bench, Impression Obsession Plane With Banner, Lawn Fawn Stitched Tree Borders, Impression Obsession Cat Set, Impression Obsession Ddog Set, and Lawn Fawn Spring Showers.

Be sure to join in and submit a card for this fun challenge! You could well be the next winner and receive a gift voucher to the amazing Dies R Us Store! If they don't have what you are looking for, it doesn't exist!

The link to the challenge is here!

I can't wait to see what amazing things you come up with!

Of "Corsets" your birthday!

Hello, again!

I love this cute corset die.  I got it from Cheapo Dies which is a company out of Omaha, Nebraska. I first became aware of this company when Dies R Us offered some of their dies.  The other die I used was a Spellbinders Elegant Ovals set.  Another set you need to add to your collection!

How cute is this for a gal's birthday?  The sentiment inside says Of "Corsets" your birthday! which is just perfect for this die.  A simple black bow finished it off.

Back tomorrow with a couple of Thinking of You cards.  Be sure to scroll down to see the second post for today, the Dies R Us Challenge for the fifteenth!

A bicycle built for two!

Back again!

Since I have been sharing wedding cards, I thought it would be nice to include an anniversary card as well.  This was an easy card to do.  I grabbede a Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Oval Stackables and a Memory Box Bicycle Built For Two die.  I cut the bicycle in white & colored it in with markers.

I decided a bike built for two would be perfect for an anniversary card.  Afterall, riding one of those would be much the same as day to day married life.  You have to have a lot of cooperation & teamwork to be successful on your journey.

Have a fun birthday card to share tomorrow.

Hello, again!

As promised yesterday, I'm back with another simple wedding card.  This one was made with a Marianne Design Circle Frame, Flourishes & Flower set and a Tutti Designs Wedding Bouquet die.

I grabbed one of my square embossing folders & embossed the front of the card for extra interest.

I'll see you tomorrow with a simple anniversary card!

QKR Stampede Challenge-Anything Goes

Happy Friday, ladies!

You know what that means! It's time for the weekly QKR Stampede challenge and this entire year the theme will be "Anything Goes" so grab your favorite stamps and join the fun!
I chose Digi# 24150-Astronaut for my card.  This makes such a cute little boy's card and we always need those for our stash don't we?

Kid cards can be tricky.  But I've learned they like bright colors & goofy animals so this should be a winner.

Be sure you enter the challenge & if you use a QKR digi, you actually win 3 free digi stamps.

See you tomorrow!

I promise !

Hi, gals!

I know there are always weddings and a little thing like winter won't stop them so I made a couple of wedding cards for my stash.

This one was done with Spellbinders Royal Circle and Die-Versions Wedding Canopy.  I cut the top part of the canopy off to fit into the circle. Don't be afraid to cut off portions of your dies! You sometimes end up with amazing results!

There are lots of black & white weddings these days so you are usually safe with that color combo.

I'll see you tomorrow with another wedding card.

Hugs,
Sherri

A fall birthday card...

Hello, everyone!

Darn, I wish my photography skills were better so you could see how really cute this card is! I was coloring the pumpkins with so much enthusiasm that I ended up soaking the paper so badly that it bled into my sunflowers.  I didn't want to throw the card away at that point, so stamped another image & colored the sunflowers and then popped them up on pop dots.  It just absolutely made the whole card!  I need to remember to do that on other cards!

The image is from Plum Purdy and the dies were from Marianne Designs Anja's Oval Die set. (One of my very favorite die sets) Whatever you put in the center looks gorgeous just because the dies are!  It's a guaranteed no fail way to a beautiful card.

Back tomorrow with a wedding card.

Sherri

Male get well card!

Hi, again!

Are you ready for a quick & cute guy get well card?  Well, this certainly fits the bill.

These stamps are from Sparkle N Sprinkle and always make a cute guy get well.  I believe they are also available in digi form too, although mine are rubber.

I grabbed Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackables and Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers for the image & sentiment.

Have a great week, everyone!

How to recover quickly!

Happy Monday!

Hope your week is off to a great start & you had a relaxing weekend!  Today I'm sharing a get well card using one of my favorite House Mouse stamps!  I love the instructions, especially the first one.  How funny!

I grabbed a Marianne Design Anja's Frilly Square die from the set 5.  A  Poppy Stamps Lorelai Leaf die added the final touch.  This Marianne set of dies is one of my favorites & an absolute must have. One of the inside dies actually embosses the most beautiful die you have ever seen.

Another get well card for tomorrow.

Mr & Mrs

Hi, there!

I'm having so much fun with this new die! It's a Tutti Designs Lily Heart Panel & I combined it with a Sue Wilson Mr & Mrs die.

Fast, easy & elegant!

Back tomorrow with another get well card!

Mr. & Mrs.

Hi, friends!

I had a lot of fun making this wedding card! It took awhile, but was worth it. I began with Marianne Design Circle Frame, flourishes & flower die and the inner circles were done with Spellbinders Royal Circle dies.  The Mr. & Mrs. were a Sue Wilson Mr. & Mrs. die set.

I love the way this turned out.  The background is actually a more pastel than the photo shows.

Back tomorrow with a cute get well card to make you smile! In the meantime, scroll down for a second wedding card today.

Wishing you a wonderful beginning....

Happy Hump Day!

Today I'm sharing a wedding card! I began by embossing the front of my card with a square Embossalicious embossing folder.  The background was done with a Marianne Design Circle Frame, flourishes & flower die and the doves were done with Tutti Designs Dove Circle. The sentiment is a 2002 Stampin' Up set and says "Wishing you a wonderful beginning....and a lifetime of happiness!" which I used for the inside sentiment.

I have one of my favorite wedding cards to share tomorrow so stay tuned.

Hugs,
Sherri

Dove wedding card

Hello, again!

Are you ready for more wedding cards?  I love the dies I used with this one.  I grabbed a Tutti Designs Dove Circle and a Marianne Design Circle Frame, Flourishes & flower die.  I also embossed the front of the card to give it more texture.

Be sure to scroll down for the second wedding card I posted today.

A belated Happy New Year!

Hi, gals!

I know we already celebrated the New Year, but I thought it would be fun to do a New Year's card for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge.  The theme for each week this entire year will be "Anything Goes" so grab whatever you are currently working on & submit your entry!  I used digi # 14403 - Father Time for my card.

Hope your 2018 is off to a fabulous start & you will have the best year ever!

Back tomorrow with 2 sympathy cards.

Happy Anniversary!

Hello!

Are you sometimes stumped for what to make for an anniversary card?  Well, this Stampendous stamp from 2006 is a quick & easy way to create a cute card.  I grabbed my Lifestyle Nesting Doily Rectangle dies and in no time I had a couple of fun cards.

I love gingham & it seemed the perfect backdrop for both of these cards.

I'll see you tomorrow with the first of 2 wedding cards.

Hugs,
Sherri

Brrrr!!

Hello again!

Doesn't this just make you cold looking at this cutie sitting outside on a Christmas package?  Me too!
I'm not sure there would ever be a good reason to sit outside in the winter!

I haven't decided if she is waiting for the rest of her birdie friends or someone else to come along but she certainly looks like she is freezing! This is another Sassy Cheryl's digi and I used the Amy Designs Ice Crystal Frame along with the Memory Box Stitched Scalloped Circles.

Back tomorrow with a couple of anniversary cards.

Sherri

I'll have a cup too!

Happy New Year!

Hard to believe we have already welcomed in the new year isn't it?  Where did last year go?  Seems like just yesterday I was living in Sioux City, Iowa and now I'm a true Nebraskan! Something I didn't think I would ever say! ha ha

Are you like me & on cold days you reach for a cup of hot chocolate?  Well, this little cutie from Sassy Cheryl has the same idea! Hope it isn't so hot it melts his nose!  I paired him with Amy Designs Ice Crystal Frame.  I love, love, love this die! It makes a gorgeous card as you will see again tomorrow since I made several with it.

Even against rather busy paper, this die still shines! And you can use it for just about any type of card too.

See you tomorrow with another version using this same die.

Hugs,
Sherri

With Sympathy!

Happy New Year!!

Can you believe today is the first full day of 2018?  I don't know about you, but this past year has just flown by! One minute I lived in Iowa and the next minute I was a Nebraskan!

Since today is the first of the month, you all know what that means! Dies R Us challenge day!
And today's challenge was a really fun one! The theme is anything goes as long as the dies you use are sold in the Dies R Us shop!

It was really, really hard trying to decide what dies to pull, but I finally decided on a sympathy card ! I love these dies & they are among my favorites!

The dies I used are as follows: Sue Wilson Noble Collection-Ornate Pierced Rectangles, Tutti Designs - Lovely Dove, and Elizabeth Craft "With Sympathy" ( I have included a link to the current die which is almost identical to mine. I've had mine for a long time & apparently they changed the font just a bit).

Be sure to check out the daily inspiration blog at Dies R Us! Great designers and they will give you lots of ideas for your own creations!

The link to the Dies R Us Challenge is here!  And for the lucky winner of today's challenge, you will receive a gift certificate to the Dies R Us store!  (AKA my favorite shopping destination in the world!)

Good luck, everyone!  I can't wait to see what glorious creations you can come up with!

Hugs,
Sherri
