Get Well!

Hello!

As promised, I'm back with a cute get well card.  I'm sure you have needed a lot of those this winter with all the colds & flu going around!  Looks like this little guy is tucked in bed and has his orange juice and pills handy so he doesn't have to get up!

This is an old Stamping Up set that I have always loved & couldn't leave behind when I moved. It colors up quickly and always makes a fun card!

See you tomorrow with our Dies R Us challenge!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, everyone!

I found this cute digi when Bugaboo had their last sale! It makes a great birthday card!  I combined it with a a Memory Box Stitched Scalloped Circle die and my favorite Joy Craft Square.

Doesn't this make a cute birthday card?  Perfect for the next female birthday card you need!

I'll be back tomorrow to finish out the month with a cute penquin get well card.

The dreaded sympathy cards!

Happy Monday!

Are you ready for another wild week or are you still tired from the weekend?  I'm ready to go full steam ahead!

I grabbed my Memory Box English Rose Collage die for these 3 cards. It's a beautiful die & one that makes a gorgeous card very quickly.

See you tomorrow with a fun birthday card!

Stella is at it again!

Hi, gals!

I don't know if you are like me & LOVE the character "Stella" at Bugaboo stamps, but she always gives me a chuckle!  She has the same attitude as "Maxine" and I love it!

The embossing folder I used didn't emboss all the way to the end, so I covered that portion with a ric rac die. Isn't it amazing how we can hide our "boo boo's" when we have to?

I'll see you tomorrow with a sympathy card.

Winter Birthday!

Hello, friends!

We all have winter birthday cards to make, don't we?  I actually made this one for my brother-in-law's January birthday!  I thought it would be perfect since they have a lot of snow on the ground already and a nice winter scene would be the way to go.

I used Amy Design Wintertide Frame for this great card! LOVE the way it not only cuts, but embosses! What a gorgeous scene it makes!

See you tomorrow with a funny Bugaboo card!

Haven't we all been there?

Hello,

Back with another image that just had me laughing out loud! Haven't we all been there?  Face Book posts notices to everyone that it's your birthday and you get birthday wishes from people you only hear from once a year!  Don't get me wrong, I love hearing from everyone, but it would be great if they would check in more than once a year!

I have some friends who LIVE on Face Book and this card would be perfect for them!

Oops!

Happy Hump Day!

Hope your week is going smoothly!  We had freezing rain yesterday but the sun is shining now so I'm excited!

We all have times we forget a birthday.  No matter how hard you try to remember them all, sometimes you just miss the day.  This darling little mouse (or rat) is a cute way to send a belated birthday wish.  He is a very old Whipper Snapper stamp and the matching sentiment says "Rats...I forgot your birthday!"

How cute is this little guy!  Hopefully, cute enough to get you out of the dog house!

Back tomorrow with another birthday card!

29 Again?

Hi, gals!

This Bugaboo image just had me laughing my head off & I knew I had to get it! It reminded me of something that happened to me years ago.....MANY years!  My sister had given me a cross stitched button that said "29 and holding" and it had a magnetic back so I hung it on the side of my desk at work.  It had been hanging there a couple of years when one of the guys came in, looked at it and said "That's been hanging there quite awhile now! Do you think it's time to take it down yet?"  I almost fell off my chair laughing and finally took it down.

I guess we all reach that point when we can't even pretend to be 29 anymore! ha ha

See you again tomorrow with another fun card!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, everyone!

Are you ready for a quick birthday card?  I used a QKR Stampede digi for the image & grabbed my Poppy Stamps Happy Birthday Channel die to make this quick card.  There isn't much coloring on the image & the die adds all you need to finish it!

I love the dies that cut your sentiment out! They always give you such a great look with so little effort! See you tomorrow with something else fun!

I'm collecting wrinkles!

Welcome back!

Are you ready for a huge smile today?  This the the male version of Bugaboo's Stella character & his name is Gus.  I had to grab him the minute I read the sentiment! One of these will go to my uncle in Virginia next year for his 94th birthday!

This first one was cut with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval Stackables.

This one was cut with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

Of course, I had to use gingham paper!  My favorite paper in the whole world.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

29 AGAIN!!!

Hello, everyone!

Have any of you reached the age where you pretend you are 29 again.....or do you just enjoy claiming your real age to see the surprise on everyone's faces?  I kind of feel I have earned all of my wrinkles & claiming I'm still 29 wouldn't fool anyone, so why bother!

Both of these were made with Stella images from Bugaboo which I got on their Black Friday sale!
This one was cut with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackable.

This one was cut with a Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers and a Lifestyles Nesting Scallop Circles die.

Back tomorrow with Gus from Bugaboo!

QKR Stampede Challenge-Anything Goes

Hello, everyone!

Are you ready for our weekly QKR Stampede challenge?  I am! I decided to go with Digi#4102-Leprechaun for my card.  I don't usually send many St. Patrick's Day cards, but thought it would be fun to send my daughter.

Believe it or not, I don't really have any St. Patrick's Day dies!  As I discovered when I got ready to pull them all out!  ha ha  So I did find an old Martha Stewart border punch that had to to do.  A couple of sticky shamrocks from my stash and he was done.

Grab your favorite stamps & join the fun! You could win some new digi stamps if you are the winner!

Sherri

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

I hope all of you have a fantastic day & your sweethearts come through with something chocolate!
When my daughter was small, my folks always got her a huge heart shaped box of candy for Valentine's Day.  One year Mom found the biggest box I've ever seen!  You should have seen Melissa's eyes when they handed it to her!  I wish I had taken a photo, but I can still see her even after all these years.  I have to tell on her though.  She HATED the chocolates with jelly centers & to avoid getting one, she always pushed in the bottoms first to be sure they were not jelly!  I guess I should have been thankful she didn't just take a bite to test!  Oh, the memories!!

Well, I warned you all! Three cards today since it is Valentine's Day!

This card was made with Tutti Designs Hanging Love, & Memory Box Heart Chain Border.

This one was made with the Tutti Hanging Love & a Cheapo Dies Heart Border.

This one was done with a Tutti Designs Fancy Heart Corner, Cheery Lynn Two of Hearts, and Cheapo Dies Stitched Scalloped Hearts.

Tomorrow I'm finally done with Valentine's and back to birthdays!  YAY!!!!!!!!  Thanks for staying with me through this past couple of weeks while I bombarded you with Valentines!

Hugs,
Sherri

Love!

Hello,

Are you rolling your eyes and saying "Oh, no, not another Valentine?"  Well, I wouldn't blame you at all!  I'm kind of tired of them myself.  ha ha

Today's card uses a Taylored Expressions Block Party-Love, a Memory Box Floral Heart & a Poppy Stamps Heart String.

Sometimes a simple card is better than a fussy one.  I think this one says it all....LOVE! And that's what Valentine's Day is all about, isn't it?  I still do Valentine's Day gifts to my daughter & her family, even though they are all grown up.  Afterall, who do you love more than your family!

Prepare yourself!  I'm going to unload my last 3 Valentine cards on you tomorrow!  ha ha
If you are at the point of gagging, you may want to skip tomorrow's post!

Kitty Cupid!

Happy Monday!

Hope your week is off to a great start! Well, you all know my love of cats, so it shouldn't be a huge surprise that I have a lot of cat stamps!  This cutie pie is from Penny Black and another old, old stamp.  I cut him out with an Elizabeth Craft Stitched Hearts die & the black heart is from Cheery Lynn Two of Hearts.

I'll be back tomorrow with another fun card!

Cupid's arrow!

Happy Sunday!

What better day to share some angels, better known as cupids! These cuties are from Impression Obsession and the scalloped & solid hearts are both from No Label dies from Cheapo Dies: Stitched Hearts & Stitched Scalloped Hearts.

I thought this gorgeous paper would be perfect for the card.  It's from an Anna Griffin 6 X 6 paper pack & it's almost gone.  If I find another, you can be sure I will snatch it up!

I have another cupid to share tomorrow, but this one is feline!

Be Mine!

Hello, friends!

Today's Valentine features a cute Penny Black hedgehog I've had since 2009.  I paired him with a No label Stitched Scalloped Hearts die from Cheapo Dies and a Memory Box Heart Ribbon.

I popped the hedgehog up on pop dots to give him some further dimension. Luckily, he is still flat enough to mail easily.

See you tomorrow with my favorite cupid die!

Happy Friday!

Are you ready to join the fun with the QKR Stampede's challenge for the week?  You can grab any of your favorite stamps because the theme is "Anything Goes" so if you want to work ahead on your stash of cards (like I did) you can chose whatever it is you need.  I decided on digi# 6201-Heart Box Angel as I wanted to make a last minute Valentine.

I love all their angels, and this one is especially cute!

Hi, there!

I found this image on Bugaboo when they had their black Friday sale & laughed out loud! Just had to get it! And, of course, since today is also MY birthday, I decided to share it today. I'm sure you all needed a break from Valentines anyway!

I don't know how many of you are on Facebook, but if you are, you have seen this again & again.

Hi, everyone!

I hope you are not totally sick of Valentines yet.  I've been having such a great time making them.
The dies I used on today's are Tutti Designs Fancy Heart Corner, Poppy Stamps Happy Heart Channel & Lawn Fawn Be My Valentine Border.

With these dies, the card just about makes itself!

I'll be back tomorrow with a quick change of pace.  Since it is my birthday tomorrow, I will share a birthday card that just made me laugh!

What a difference paper makes!

Hello, again!

Today I have a couple of cards made with the same exact dies but just a change of paper. As you will see, they look totally different.  For both of these cards, I've used a no label die from Cheapo Dies called Stitched Scalloped Hearts, Taylored Expressions Block Party-Love & Cheery Lynn Sweetheart Frame.  I've had the heart frame for years & years.  I think it was one of the first valentine dies I ever purchased. And I use it EVERY year!

Look at the difference a simple change of paper makes! I'm not sure which one I love the most.

Back tomorrow with what else, another Valentine card!

More favorites!

Happy Monday!

Hope your week is off to a great start! I've been busy working on Valentines, of course! Here is another using a couple of my favorite dies.  Memory Box Floral Heart & Poppy Stamps Happy Heart Channel.

There is also a solid heart that you can cut to go behind the lacy floral heart, but I decided to let the background paper show through instead.

I'll be back tomorrow with a couple of great cards showing you the difference paper changes make.

Crazy about hearts!

Hi, friends!

Are you in the valentine mood yet?  I have gone nuts making them & now have quite a stash.

Today's card was made with a Memory Box Ferrand Heart (which also embosses) and a Poppy Stamps Heart Lattice Background.  The banner was an old Spellbinders ribbon tag.

Don't you love the embossing on this gorgeous heart?  It's one of my favorites!

I hope you haven't OD'd on Valentines yet!  I have a lot more to share!

Back tomorrow with another!

Sherri

Be mine!

Hello, again!

Are you ready to start concentrating on your Valentines?  I certainly am in the mood for them after making several this week!

I have had this Great Impressions stamp for many years.  I love anything with a giraffe on it & he was too cute to pass by.  I cut him out with a Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle set.  I took him to a craft show in December and I'm hoping someone bought him for their little one!  If not, I'll be sending him out to someone special.

I'll see you again tomorrow with another Valentine!

Wedding Time!

Hello, gals!

Today I'm sharing 2 wedding cards I made for a craft show in December.  I had just gotten a new die & fell in love with it!

Both cards were  made with a Die-Versions die called Floral Bride & Groom.  On this one, I embossed the background and cut it out with a Marianne Designs Oval LR0240.

For this card I grabbed a Marianne Designs Anja's Oval Die set.  One of my all time favorite die sets ever! It always makes a gorgeous card!

Be sure to scroll down to see the Dies R Us challenge for today as well.
