Blossoms & a butterfly

Happy Monday!  I hope you have all had a great start to your week. I thought I would start the week with something a little different than my usual kids or critters cards.  I don't do a lot of florals anymore. I used to do them a lot.  I don't know about you, but I find myself going thru phases. Everything is critters, everthing is kids, everything is blue, everything is covered in glitter.....you get the idea. It's time to switch it up a little and  try some new things every once in awhile.

I bought this Stampendous stamp Saturday with a totally different idea in mind for the card I would make. Once I got it colored with my copics, it kind of took me in a new direction. I hope you like it.

The black doily is from Heartfelt Creations. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch and the cute little flourish at the bottom is from Die-namics. In keeping with trying new things, I'm going to enter this in two challenges:  I Brake for Challenges (I Brake For Florals) and Challenge #10Blossoms & Butterflies from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.

Have a great Tuesday!  Catch you later!

  1. You're getting some mileage out of your dies at the moment! The flourishes frame the image beautifully. I've not seen this stamp before and I rather like it.

  3. Ooooh, this is pretty! Beautiful stamp and dies, and striking blue and black combo. I know what you mean about the phases. I'm in a whimsical phase, but it all depends on who I'm stamping for, the occasion, etc. I really love your kids and critters. They make me smile!
