A day to remember

Hi everyone,

I have a sympathy card to share today.  I lost a dear friend Thursday and she was laid to rest this morning.  She left us much too soon by our plan, but I know God had something better for her in His plan.

The paper is from Recollections. The stamp is an old one & the name is rubbed off the side, but I think it says Great Impressions.  I love the frilly look of this tree. The mat is from Heartfelt Creations & the corner flowers from an old corner punch which I think is EK Success.

Catch you later.

  1. Hello, Sherri,

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your friend. I saw your entry come up in my Google Reader earlier today, and I didn't realize the content. Very sad. But your card is both serious and beautiful. May your friend rest in peace. Sincerely, Turquoise

  2. Beautiful card for the purpose. Still love how you use all those punches and dies. You must have a room full of them.

  5. I really love this tree, too. It's absolutely beautiful and it makes a wonderful sympathy card. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend. A young friend of mine has just lost her husband to a tragic accident and I'm grieving for her. A loss is always sad, but so hard to understand when they leave us too soon. Take care.
