Black & White day

Hi everyone!

Today's post is totally different from yesterdays colorful post.  I love doing black & white cards. And since I had some new "sale" stamps that just screamed out to be done in black & white I decided to give them a try.

This stamp was from a set by Recollections that I picked up for $2.99 this weekend. The matting was done with a new Martha Stewart punch set that called my name.  Isn't that how we do it?  Save money on stamps so we can buy something else?  lol  The paper is from Recollections too and the ribbon was in my stash.

This was one of the other stamps in the set. I used the Martha punch set again for this background. I love the hand stitched look to it. Both of these were quick to make & I love the way they turned out. Not as much as yesterday's, but in a different way.

Hope your week started well & will continue to be a good one.  Catch you later with a guy card stamped on cork!

  1. I'm excellent at spending "saved" money too! I love a good black and white creation and these are fabulous! The polka dots look is great with the paper piercing.
