April Flowers Bring May Flowers/Read All About It!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Since it is officially Spring, it is also time for April showers to bring us May flowers!  We have had such a dry winter & spring in our area, that we can really use some nice soaking rains. Since this Wednesday also happens to be the 15th of the month, I will be sharing 2 cards today.  This first one is for the Dies R Us Challenge Blog!  Be sure you head on over there & join in on the fun for a chance to win a gift certificate! The challenge this time is "April Showers Bring May Flowers" and you must use a handmade flower on your card.  With all the incredible dies available at the Dies R Us store, you should have no problem finding exactly the flower you need!

This card was made with the following dies:  Frantic Stamper Fancy Leaves, Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly Small #2, Sue Wilson Italian Collection-Umbria, & Cheery Lynn Sweet William.

How cute is this image?  It is a digi from Tiddly Inks.  They have some darling stamps!

Now, for my regular Wednesday post for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog, here is the card I am sharing!

Using a Mo Manning digi, I fussy cut him then began building a little scene using the following dies:
Poppy Stamps Classic Ribbons, Memory Box Puffy Clouds, Dee's Distinctively Tree Base 2, Dee's Distinctively Tree Toppers, Impression Obsession Bench, Impression Obsession Cat Die Set, & Poppy Stamps Antique Lamp Post.

To create the "arm" on my lamp post, I simply cut a second post & trimmed off the top light & scrollwork! A great way to add a sentiment to your scene!  And, of course, I had to add a little white to the cat so he looked like Brady!

Hope you liked both of today's cards!  All of the dies are available at the awesome Dies R Us store!  NOBODY carries more dies, has lower prices or lower shipping rates!!

Catch you again soon!

  1. I'm just in love with your first card -- pretty little girl and those wonderful die cuts. Then the second one, total opposite, equally fantastic in design and creativity. You had me over at Dies R Us looking again, Sherri!
