QKR Stampede Challenge - Give Thanks!

I'm back!!

For those of you who have wondered where my usual Friday QKR Stampede post has been for the past couple of weeks, I have been moving from Iowa to Lincoln, Nebraska!  What an adventure! After living in the same house for over 41 years, there was a lot of "stuff" that needed to be packed & moved or discarded or donated.  Made me wish I had taken my daughter's advice years ago to purge everything you haven't used in a year!  ha ha

This week's challenge is "Give Thanks" and is a fitting one for me!  I am really giving thanks for the loyal friends who helped me pack & move, especially Gail!  I don't know how I would have done it without all her help!  And then, of course, there was my own family who helped me unpack & put all of my "stuff" away!  I have been truly blessed!

I'm LOVING my new place!  Everything is on one floor & my craft room is gigantic! And even better, it opens onto a sunroom where I can relax between cards once the weather improves.

My digi image for today is #14515-Hunting Turkey.  I'm guessing among the things he is thankful for is the second ammendment!  ha ha

My new place is in a park-like setting with tons of Canadian Geese.  They tell me there are also deer and fox, but I haven't seen either of those yet!
