QKR Stampede Challenge - Wheels

Happy Friday!

Today's challenge at QKR Stampede is a fun one!  The theme is "Wheels" and with all the choices you have at QKR Stampede, it shouldn't be hard to come up with something that catches your fancy! Or pull out your favorite car stamp and create a card for your favorite guy.  I decided on digi # 20205-Old Car for mine.

I love the look of old, antique cars!  I'm not sure I would actually want to drive one, however, since few of them have air bags or air conditioning!  I am pretty spoiled by those 2 things!  I remember driving back from Minneapolis one summer in a car with no air.  It was brutal! Melissa & I had gone to a craft show and the car was packed with my tole paintings.  The temperature was in the high 90's and so was the humidity.  Even with the windows down, it was just hot air blowing in and we were quickly soaked!  She had purchased a fish while we were there & we had him in a plastic bag full of water.  I won't tell you what happened to him in the heat, but suffice it to say, we didn't have him long!

Enjoy your weekend!  Hope to see your entries soon!
Hugs,
Sherri

  1. You sure do get these masculine cards spot on. My Rich would love this! It's so perfect with the brown flannel plaid and the gear dies. You have dies for everything! Even the die you cut the image panel with has kind of a sprocket look to it. When we were younger we had cars with no air conditioning. After driving across the Nevada desert in one of them we've had air conditioned cars ever since. Melissa's heart must have been broken about the fish. Dang, that's hot!

  3. Love this! Nice job with the red. When I use that much red it tends to run. Love the well placed dies.
