Another birthday...

Hi everyone,
I'm still working on the birthday card list.  At least I am getting closer to the end. lol  Today's card is made with a cute digi from The Paper shelter. I am entering it in the Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #137-Embossing.  I used the Joy Crafts Double Floral Oval  which not only cuts a beautiful oval frame, but also embosses flowers at the top & bottom of the oval.  I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to add more flowers to the edge of the card.  I lightly scuffed a turquoise ink pad over the embossed areas to give them more dimension. They may be hard to see with my photography.

The image was colored with copics & the paper is from K & Co.

I'm hoping this will be a birthday card my co-worker will enjoy.

More chances of storms tonight! YUK! It was already 93 around 2:30 this afternoon so if we do get any, I'm sure they will be strong.  I'll have poor Brady attached to my leg like glue.  He HATES storms.
Have a great week & try to stay cool!

Catch you all later.

  1. Beautiful card Sherri. Your die cut looks like it was made just for her and it really sets her off.

  7. Oh, gosh, she is sweet! Fabulous coloring. Love how fresh your card looks in the colors you chose. Hope you're done with the storms now. Our Scooper would hide behind the water heater in a thunder storm, but Marvin always wanted to go outside. Go figure.
