Happy Graduation!

Hi, everyone!

As promised, I'm back with a couple of ideas for graduation cards made with embossing folders.  i'm not sure whose folders these are as most of mine don't have names & I wasn't smart enough to write a name on them when I bought them.  I know better now!

This first card made use of one of my favorite stamps from Stampendous for the image.  The hat was from an old dollar stamp at Michaels which I cut out & popped up.

Again, I grabbed that dollar stamp (LOVE dollar stamps!) and put it with Memory Box Starry Wreath, which I have had for a long time & originally bought for 4th of July cards!

Both were easy to do & I think they would work for either a guy or gal.  Change the colors if you know their school colors, but black is always good if you don't!

Back tomorrow with a Dies R Us post!

  1. Hi Sherri, two beautiful embossed cards, your first with the oval frame embossing is one of my favorites "Sizzix. Elegant Wreath" I have the other E/F will find the name if you wish..
    Hugs Pam

  2. Love that embossing folder! so you're perfect with embossing folders as well as dies! Cute cards.

  3. These are great grad cards for just about any age, really! I love that first embossing folder. It's one of my faves, but I haven't used it recently. I LOVE the congrats sentiment you used, and the hat is the perfect easy accent stamp to go with any grad sentiment. So cute with the rolled up diploma, too! Also love the starry wreath die. That would go with a lot of things, I think. Guess it's not too soon to start thinking about grad cards, is it? It's good to get ahead!

  4. Fabulous Sherri! I especially like that wreath with the cap!
