A Country Christmas!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I hope your week is going well & life is good in your corner of the world!  If you have looked at the calendar you know that Thanksgiving is next week & I'm sure you are already making plans for your celebration. And by now, you probably have your Thanksgiving cards already done & ready to drop in the mail.  So, with that thought in mind, I am sharing a Christmas card today!  It all started because I fell in love with the Memory Box Pinecone Frame.  I just knew I wanted to make some of my cards with this beautiful die.  After playing around with it for a bit, I decided to add some pine needles using my Impression Obsession Pine Cone & Fir Branches die which is one of my "go to" dies for winter.  Unfortunately, we are out of stock on this one at the moment, but you could easily substitute Memory Box Pine Needle Twigs if you don't want to wait.  To finish it off, I added a sentiment using Cheery Lynn Merry Christmas.  This is also a must have!  You get 2 sizes of the Merry Christmas sentiment and can decide which size looks best on your card.  It's so much easier to use a die for your sentiment than to finish a card & smudge the sentiment you try to stamp on it!

Here is what I came up with!  I thought it needed some of my favorite gingham paper to complete that country look along with a little burlap bow.  I hope you agree!

I know you are getting some wonderful ideas from our daily Dies R Us Inspiration Blog, but don't forget to drop in on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  Share some of those fantastic ideas YOU have and you could be the winner of a gift voucher to our amazing Dies R Us Store!

Until next week, have a wonderful week!  Take some time out of your busy schedule to create something! Creative people are HAPPY people!

  3. Wow! You make me want this die, now. I kept looking, but didn't get it. What a great focal point for your card. I really love the warm and woodsy feel of this. Great idea to add the pine branches. Yes, I'm happiest when I've had a chance to create. Now I want to go die cut something!
