It's Retirement Time!

No, not me!! DARN IT! One of the gals I have worked with forever is retiring this Friday. I had to make a couple of retirement cards to pass around to the office & plants this weekend. Here is what I came up with.

This first one was done with some beautiful paper from The Paper Studio, a simple stamp from Stampabilities & a flower from my stash.

The 2nd one was done with a Penny Black stamp, a Martha Stewart punch set & paper from Recollections.  I'm running out of retirement stamps that I haven't already used for work. lol

Hope your Monday was a good one.  I'm off to "play" with a couple of new dies that I ordered in a weak moment. Why do they have to make so many darned cute ones!  It's not fair!

Catch you later!

Lovely cards. I think the first one is elegant and the wee hedgehog made me smile.

  2. The first card: Ooo, yes, SO elegant! It would also be perfect for a wedding! And the second card, too, just as Myrna said! The turquoise "frame" looks like a lovely pool of water, in a way.
